Not play IWAY? *ahem*...
Modify the build I suppose, make the ranger bringer distracting/savage.
Not to get all high and mighty but this is exactly why I don't play iway, there are so many counters/flaws.

Lure the warriors out and kill them, let them use res, kill warriors until their resses run out, wait until warder casts wards and run away, kill the casters when they approach.
if they dont leave the wards, kill the warder

If you run 16 earth and ask for guardian when you ward there is no way distracting blow should catch meele. Besides using foes then kite the warriors and put up meele. If foes is interupted they wastet there interupt if not you can easy get out of range and put up meele.
Using a choking gass ranger or a trapper makes it much harder to stay in the wards.

How many warriors are there, use two on ele...to pressure.
Two with distracting blow - guardian wont do squat!!!
Order of Apostasy now used in IWAY? Bye to guardian.
But as you say trap the ward.

Get smarter warriors that don't just chase the monks in and out of the wards, and actually know how to find a priority target.
Or just quit playing IWAY.

Quit playing IWAY then laugh at the iwayers trying to hit you inside your ward.

I have never played OoA or OoP, but if one of them could fit the hex spell "rigor mortis" in their skill bar then you might have a chance to counter the wards.
Note: you would also have to cover rigor mortis with other hexes because monks would immediatley remove it.

IWAY runs as no hex build and puts up NR on purpose. Introducing hexes into an IWAY build would be like changing a ranger spike build to run with only one ranger and 3 casters on the spike.

Many IWAYs run with a me/e fastcast water ele (which is mostly hexes). Hopeless has been winning a lot lately with it.

Are you serious or pulling my leg? This would be instead of a trapper, right? I have been out of HA for a while now, but this still seems odd. I guess with fast cast high enough you could cast at the rate a normal water ele would (due to the presence of NR). The snares are short term hexes though and they accomplish their goal even if not present for very long. The hexes streets was suggesting though are not...
