last night I was in a team that added toxicity to the standard thumpway build with death necro (not really the best use of the skill but it was late and too many beers had been consumed to think of anything cleverer). Was a basic PUG team who had never played together before, went from rank 450 to rank 107 in about 90 mins before falling apart under the effects of alchohol and silly experimentation later in the night (still ended up plus 60 points on the night though).
I would say this is an extremely broken skill

I haven't been able to unlock You're All Alone yet, but I had similar thoughts looking at it. Extremely powerful elite on a sword warrior, and particularly nice as an unremovable cripple on a base gank character.
As far as Toxicity, be glad you guys aren't seeing the version that was at PAX - that was -6 degen, not -4. It's a retarded skill either way though.

I'm also glad to see that they actually put some usable skills in Fire Magic (Mind Blast springs to mind).
However, I would say that Smoke Trap looks to be an awesome skill. Dazed AND blind?

looks like my crazy RC boon monk might get some play after all. yikes.
speaking about Toxicity... with all the poison attacks flying around, i think it might be a good idea to throw Signet of Toxic Shock into the mix. mass degen with spike ftw.

Blinding Surge- Used this for my new Blindbot, and was surprised with the results. It was way better than Blinding Flash and definetely worth the elite slot.
Toxicity- Way too overpowered. Everyone and their dog is running it; its like a new Derv-way. No way a 2 monk backline could handle that. Needs to be elite and have nonchangable added degen.
DC- Incredibly good skill. As stated above posts.
Most of the new Assassin elites sound great.
One Ritualist spell can do spammable lightning damage, so that should be nerfed...
Mind Blast has to be the new E-management skill for Nukers (yes, I said nukers)
Liked the way they balanced Dervish, gj anet.
Paragons got some amazingly good skills.
Sad to say, even more useless Energy elites, yet Glyph of Restoration looks awesome.
All the new monk elites are amazing, especially GoL.

/sarcasm
On a serious note, there are a lot of good skills as well.
Destructive Chop has been mentioned a lot already
Headbutt+Plague Touch looks really interesting
"You're All Alone" has been mentioned
Toxicity will hopefully get a nerf but looks very.........powerful the way it is
Magebane shot will get some play - instant recharging interrupt
Relitavize ofcourse
Mending Touch looks interesting in a similar way Healing Touch does
Zealous Benediction looks like WoH only better
Corrupt Enchantment - 10sec recharge enchant removal along with some degeneration
Signet of Suffering gives a nice boost to SB/RI (like they needed one)
Reaper's Mark for....obvious reasons, like keeping pressure on 3 people permanently and a ton of energy when they die
Mirror of Disenchantment could mean the definitive end of bonders(edit: means)
Simple Thievery, for stealing res sigs off casters
Discharge enchantment for another fast recharging enchant removal, but this time not elite
Hypochondria. I believe someone made a post about a fragilty spike using this skill
Blinding Surge, I shouldn't have to explain why
Storm Djinn's Haste - Massive energy loss, but with.......
Ether Prism , that shouldn't be a problem. This is the first Emanagement skill I'd consider over Ether Prodigy
Searing Flames - AOE burning and dmg with a 2 sec recharge!
Shattering assault - I'm surprised noone has mentioned this yet. if your foe has 2 enchants it's like a.............+158 dmg dagger attack!!!11!!11!zomg!!1!!1 This might be the best skill I've seen in NF so far.
I don't really know yet about the P's and D's. from what I've seen I'm not too impressed with them.
EDIT: removed some skills from the shitty list, because of comments other people made that actually made sense

Don't diss Ether Phantom. Ether Phantom + Drain Delusions = energy management + 8 energy lost every 10 seconds.

I'm wondering whether enraging charge might be a viable replacement for sprint on warriors.

How the hell is spiritual pain on the list of sucky new spells? Te was using it on both mesmers in their Adrenospike and it was rediculous. As if Domination Mesmers needed another high damage spell to throw at a spike. Spiritual Pain will change the face of A-spike teams more than Destructive Chop.
Also, Enraged Charge is great, and Web of Disruption + Drain Delusions is the most fun I've had as mesmer, ever. If you pull the combo off on the same person enough times, Web will eventually read - "Interupt target foes action. That foe then stands idle for 10 seconds in stark terror of the possibility you will interupt them again."

Barbed arrows is an awesome skill, that and Poison arrow is 7 degen in two skills, on one character. Pretty nice imo. It also frees an elite on a melandrues ranger.
Freezing gust is nice, as well. Constant 66% slow, yes plz. Chilling winds will also find it's way onto hybrid's bars, 20 second deep freeze is pwnsauce. Most of the other skills you listed aren't great, but hey, bad skills aren't a new thing in GW, and most will find a use somewhere, if just in a gimick. I think they have the best good/crap ratio yet with nightfall.

Am I really the only one thinking Shattering Assault is reterdedly overpowered?

It's elite and it can only be used by a class that really needs an elite dedicated to surviving.
Anyway: Reaper's mark is godly. It's by far the best "damage per energy" (energy return excluded) spell combined with a rather good e-mangement ability. If it wasn't linked to a rather useless primary attribute, it would be seriously overpowerd...

probably the same effect sins and rits had. Good builds will come out, but it'll take time. The game is still adepting to sins and rits atm. Both have....one? good build or something like that but I'm confident it'll grow.
