Wasting a skill slot on probably the character with the tightest skillbar just to give an occasional uncovered cripple on a warrior? No.

Why are people talking about whether to put it or not on a skillbar? The only question that was asked whether it would work, NOT whether it would be the new fotm.

Of course it would work, lets look use at a working model for comparison.
Theb BC NR/Tranq build, most of the kills are from the warrior. The rangers drain the monks of all nrg with debilitating and NR/Traq. Yes marauders is hot, but...
IMHO, I think the build would still be effective if Cr.Ath. was put in somewhere, maybe a sword war, esp with all the rangers.
If you need a KD to score a kill idk, it seems to me with the right build a cripple should be fine.
It's funny how noone likes this 1 low adren, elite, yes, skill but there are people more than happy to use up 2 slots and spread deep wound around to pleople who arent in any harm, ie, GftE+FtW. I would think Cr.Ath. would be nice on a non-paragon so maybe the paragon could carry something else and still be able to hit the target. I mean we all know that noone is going to be hit by any spear they move to slow, the same why it would be impossible to die from a FC Light Orb spike, when that was possible.

Erm yeah. I wasn't talking about the Crippling anthem, but about the smite discussion. Whether it would work with smite, and then people proceeded to say it wouldn't be good on a monk.

And here I was, thinking FC-air spike was a dominating gimmick until it was nerfed.

A ranger with Grenth's Grasp + Apply Poison or Melandru's Arrows might be interesting - your savage shots and d-shots would spread covered cripple.
Of course you'd lose the crippling bowstring because you have to use a cold one and fix your secondary, but you'd free up your elite slot and save some energy. I guess you'll also have about 0 in marksmanship, since those points will have to be moved to whatever Dervish attribute Grenth's Grasp is.
