Nightfall Tombs
They need to change the area yet again
Im thinking they should add some new maps (of course)
Change the name of the Heros Ascent/Tombs of Primeval Kings yet again
and change it to the new look that Nightfall will give us
Of course by changing the maps I mean just getting rid of the old maps completely and putting in some new ones to give people a new look at the game
Sure Hall of Heros, Dark Chambers, Sacred Temples, The Vault, and The Courtyard all look cool being gold and etc. but I think its time for some change with the HA map list
Anyway .. So when Nightfall comes out im buying WoW the same exact day
but ya im getting Nightfall too :P

We definately need more 1v1 maps (not relic maps) in HA, most of the maps are a gankfest - which is getting pretty RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing lame.

IMO too many 1v1s would be boring. 3 was fine (UW, Burial, Dark Chambers), two, as we have it now would be acceptable as well if only they were #1 and 2 in the rotation.
I'm kinda split on the "gankfest" maps. Broken tower is unbelievably gay, but that's mostly because 75% of the teams have no clue what to do. You can see some pretty stupid things happening on courtyard too, but at least people know what they're doing there, for the most part.
I think I want to see the old burial mounds again with 6-way FFA. That was fun and since it was the second map in rotation, getting ganked on it wouldn't cut off your amazing run or anything... the lever on scarred earth is fine. You have an option not to open it if you're taking the fight seriously, or you can leeroy in if you're running some gimmick and just cause chaos. Of course it's not so fun when you're on the inside and somebody else decided to do that, but hey...

You contradicted yourself there, you hate broken cause its a gankfest, yet you want a 6 way map back. I agree broken tower can be frustrating, but i'd still pick it over a 6 way gankfest anyday.
If they would just move broken to 3rd or 4th map in rotation it would solve a lot i think.

Anyways, back on topic.
As far as the maps go now, half of them are a joke. Relic run is all about whether or not you have ward against foes, wb speed, and gale (although I do enjoy sacred temples). Broken tower is just disgusting, half the times both teams are henchway, half the time one team goes for the team on their left... It needs more straight up 1v1s. Another map like UW would be perfect. Adding some new maps would make HoH somewhat enjoyable, at least for a little while.

of course the 1vnone would be the holding team and the team that got the by for the Halls
so obviously osmeone doesnt know what they're talking about :\

Not sure which tombs you were playing, but the one I played had either 1v1 (at really dead times), 1v1v1 (like it is now), (1v1) v 1 v 1 or (1v1) v 1 v (1v1). The teams in brackets mean someone had to win between the two of them before the bridge opened up. So ya, it was 5 teams max....

Wtf is this incoming team...there were 2 teams on each side fighting it out. 2x2 is 4, plus the team that has control of the alter at the beginning, 4+1=6? Obviously someone doesn't know what they're talking about :\
Didn't you make a thread about the fame of people so you would know who knows what they are talking about? I would flame you here but I'm afraid the new User Agreement doesn't permit me to do so.

For some reason thats what I remember
Having 5 teams come into HoH at the start (excluding the holding team)
Then having 1v1 and 1v1 then the yellow team or whatever RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO team it was would get the pass and either get to wait until 2:15 to move in while the other teams fought it out (which was funny because some teams didnt even make it to the altar )

Although I don't think GW has the overall activity for it anymore, I think a 5 team HoH would do some good. If you could consistantly get 5 teams in HoH (with minimal skips... which you can't,) then people would be forced into making builds that could not only win matches, but do so in decent time. This would force people into running more offensive builds, instead of builds with tons of holding power and just enough offense to make it through to HoH.
Unfortunately due to the lack of teams in HA at the current time, I don't think it would be possible.

and a lot of players will of course go PvE when NF goes online, so probably HA will be a ghosttown for the next 5 or 6 weeks.
And supposedly you can bring heroes to HA as well. In that case, it's bye bye pugteams. The only way you can form a team in a descent amount of time then is with your guild/allience/friends.
