Its upsetting to know how much luck of chance will dominate the 2nd map in HA no matter how skilled your team is.

More like you can no longer rush-in cap and plant spirts, or wait until 2 minutes to cap. With 3 teams you actually have to worry about your positioning because where you otherwise could just Ward/Spirit Spam while you had the altar capped, you now have the potential for 2 teams to tag-team you which widely eliminates the ability for teams to just chill out on the altar all match.

to be honest, the changes to broken tower are not much of a problem imo.
You must take into consideration though, that the 'not so good' teams that you normally face in burial will now be present on this map. The only thing you have to worry about, is that these teams will not know who to attack, and they might attack you while the other team capped the altar.
Another problem you might face here, is if you have a team that is well-known. Try winning with 12 vs you then

I actually like the new broken tower though it is quite annoying when you u r up against unexperienced teams that C-Spacebar and end up leaving the holding team untouched.
Also there are a whole new bunch of strategies emerging with the resurrection orbs, and i like it. Funny when inexperienced teams camp at spawn point and you steal their orb.

It is kind of overboard that you need to do all this crap just for two fame. On the other hand this map is so fun to play now because of the tactics you need to use. Going in and just trying to hold and then interupt doesn't work you actually need to fight to win and its so fun.

Yeah i've witnesed one of the bugs and it needs a fix very quickly as you can cap then just take your hero off the alter.

Ive won by going in and capping with 3 teams now.(but thats because a r7 group liked me =P) But anyway it was quite amazingly hard to keep it like that. We were dual smite which was definatley a huge advantage to us with 4 monks. We had a passive bonder and symbyosis just because of the huge amount enchant in the build. I was running woh with both heal other and jameis gaze. Although we had a gigantic advantage it came down to our last person alive(smiter) actually saving the ghost because they didnt notice he was there.
Its probably way to hard to do that on balanced or vimway. Also the first time we did it we went in after both them capped and one killed the other hero. It was quite succesful although our ghostly did die we had the orb with us. With three they can team up to take out one ghostly... which sucks. Maybe mark of protection might be a good skill to bring now if ur planning to rush in. Its not really keeping the ghostly alive now though its really about keeping ur monks alive with the 2 other groups attacking. Oh well ill deal with it.

I agree witht the topic starter there has to be a reason why we (a guild full of unranked people) won broken tower over a 41 ranked guild.

Some people just do not deal well with change. Consider it a new map that needs new tactics, even if it is a recycled one.
The bug with ghost capping after time ran out should be reported and anet will fix it soon enuff.
As for good experienced teams getting swarmed by 12 instead of 6, well that sucks. But there is a price to being soo popular, people just want to kill you... Consider it a compliment.

I agree, the only annoying factor about this is all the noob team presents, who instead of going for the team who has the altar, decide to go for you.

I actually like the new map. There are new strategies to go with it, and it's a lot more diverse compared to how it was 1v1. Sure, it's no longer a guaranteed win, but that just makes it more exciting for me.

It's not so different from any of the other altar maps, including HoH. The main difference is that it's much more cramped and it's possible to res the ghost with 30 seconds left and cap again. It also helps to filter out some of the less-versatile builds early on.
Also, note that the first map is 1v1, the second map is 1v1v1 and the third map is 1v1+1v1.

The only problem I think is the damn bugs. Otherwise I like the change. I'd rather have it 6 minutes though.

Take out the bugs and give a notice when a enemy ghost rezes.Like when the morale boosts come?Instead it would say across the screen Blue's Ghost Has Ressurected!
