used this build and we still use (cause its fun) for the last 3 days. It works perfectly well against teams who dont know how it works or are to dumb to see whats happening.
Sometimes after we killed one, they figured out what just happened.
Againt skilled teams its gg. They just make sure the ele wont be able to do any knockdowns. And some trap teams wait into eternity untill you blink in and get boobytrapped.

Well thats quite simple. Seed 1 monk, let him set off the traps, and teleport out again.

this spike sucks for the following reasons
- all you have to do is watched if you're getting knocked down and tell the infuser your number if you're getting knocked down and its pretty much GG -- kinda like Rit spike eh?
but yea these people that are saying that AoD isnt usefull are a bunch of tards honestly
did you people not know that those spike skills require you to touch the target foe... durr?
AoD guarentees for the spike to go off with everyone at the target at the same time without the other team knowing what person they are going for because they are all chasing that 1 person around .. the only thing that would give it away is the gale and if you take out the Element or diversion or interrupt basically this spike is down for the count.

aod isnt the only teleporting skill in the game, you could put deaths charge or some other teleport (i havent played for 4 months now so i kinda forgot most skills) instead of wasting an elite and put monk elites in the build so you can have more holding power (but slower spikes obviously).

1st of all, this has been posted during the 6v6 preview event. thats a while ago, and it was made THEN.
2nd, you understand the usage of AoD, and with 5 monks, i think the holding power is ok.
3rd, yes, the elementalist is the weak point. Without the KD, a spike does still 110 times 5=550 damage, wich could still kill.

yeah dont use aod, the healing elites are far more worth it. ive ran this build.
