I don't think Arcane Echo would be carried to an 8v8 (i.e. GvG) format. I'd bet on Simple Thievery not getting their as well.

Price of Pride was nerfed, it really sucks now. Both of those are hexes that have to stick since Price only triggers to an elite and depravity has a long recharge so they only fit in hex builds at which point you should be using vocal minority which itself needs a buff. Regardless, it isn't like paragons are running low on energy. Simple thievery is just silly.
You could also Tease him and then dodge his spears. Better yet Arcane Mimicry + Extend Conditions + Signet of Midnight.

Granted 4 regen isn't anything that you're going to shoot your load over, but don't gloss over it either. There's a lot of incidental damage that occurs over the course of a match. When the player is constantly in combat, that's all damage that will need to be healed. With 4 regen on all characters, all that incidental damage is largely negated. What I think is broken about it is that it's free and un-removable.

While better in a straight up fight at the stand, they're certainly solid in a split. As versitile as they are, you can split just about any member of the team, and with the defensive nature of their skills you can almost always send 1 more guy than the other team and still not buckle at the stand.

Conditions come off really quick with Song of Purification, another overpowered skill in my opinion. Everyone in the party loses 3 conditions for doing what they were going to do anyway. And degen is where the Mending Refrain is even more powerful - when everyone on the team is getting 4 pips all the time. Sure the degen gets a little more effecient because their cap is now essentially 14 pips of degen instead of 10, but still that's 4 pips that they have to overcome on every character. That's pretty rough on the degen team - especially one where conditions are being lifted at the rate of 3*character/10ish seconds. Cmbined with Hexbreaker Aria, each smite hex acts more like Empathetic Removal and Empathetic Removal drops an additional hex from the caster.
