On as serious note, a decent PvP rep would be the best thing at this point. It would be something to counter act all the pointless polls in Riverside/Sarderlak. Seriously Gaile if I started a poll asking people if they want 2 be able to buy FoW armor for real money, im 100% sure the majority will vote yes.

Imo, no need of removing fame. HA needs some kind of title given for acomplishment and victories. But removing shiny emote is the best idea ever. Who needs it anyway? It only attracts the unwanted crowd. Lawl at Syra's post I know what changes you would promote . Also, Leteci for representative ^^.

Sorry to get a little off topic, but I'd just like to point out that Anet has always specifically said that GW is not an mmorpg. It is an rpg, it is online, and there are a lot of players involved that you can interract with, but the fact is, the actual gameplay is done in groups of 8 or less, hardly massive.
While I'll agree that the hero controls are reminiscent of an rts, the game in and of itself is still an rpg. Personally though, I don't care for the heroes because it complicates what used to be a beautifully simple game. My solution? I won't use heroes, or if I do, I won't put much more effort into them than I would henchies. I may set up their skills and attributes, but trying to control all their skills and moves in combat is just ridiculous.
As for heroes in PvP, look on the bright side. If your opponent is using heroes, his attention is divided. Take advantage of it!

This wouldn't be a problem if HA wasn't ranked.
Rank and rank elitism destroyed HA ever since IWAY rolled around.

6v6, heroway, yeah no more gimmick builds, more players....right?
No more gimmick builds? More players?
Every time I go into HA it's like this:
1st battle, heroway searing flames, second battle 2x heroway sering flames, 3th battle, heroway searing flames or real group searing flames.
Last night I played HA for a few hours, we faced exactly one non-searing flames group (a smitebonders spike, they kicked our ass).
Anyway HA is now:
75% heroway searing flames
20%real people searing flames
5%others
Another problem:
Rank inflation:
Anyone can now farm fame, it's worse than Iway, heroway is 90% of the time free fame, heroway can beat other heroways.
Anyway, I see rank inflation, hardly any rankless groups, but even fewer r3+ groups, it's now all r6+ or something like that.
GG for banning out gimmick builds and elitism Anet!

yeah we should compare tyrian explorer titles. Seriously im guessing you are unranked and have absolutely no idea what destroyed HA.
I am going to say this for one last time, rank means jack SHlT. If a ranked party is forming in ID1, chances are it most likely sucks. Unranked/r3+/r6+ parties all seem to play at the same lvl, especially on the maps that count most (courtyard, sacred, HoH).
The good players form parties straight from their f-list and guild list. PUGs are a huge part of HA, but if you look at the ratio of Pugs to guild teams in HA, then look at the ratio of Pugs to guild teams winning halls, you will notice that there are fewer guild teams, but they seem to win halls much more often.
Play RA/TA, then join unranked FoTM HA groups getting 10 fame a day. Then make fellow unranked friends, and play with them. You will eventually get your bambi and if you like HA, you will keep playing. Then, you will start/join an "ok" pvp guild with their friends experimenting with different and less cookie-cutterish builds. They will progressivly get better and eventually win halls under your name/guild name. Soon after, you will realize that fame is totally irrelivant since you are easily taking down higher ranked players and getting pointless fame. Those that kept grinding cookie cutter builds until they got their tiger are losing to henchway.
Point is, play with good friends you know can play, join a PvP guild, or try to get some of your PvE guildies to try out HA (I was in the PvEest guild in guildwars and got my rank 3 from playing with these guildies). Practice what you are good at, and if you really are good at what you do, i am 100% sure you will get pms every night 2 join your buddies' HA teams.
I think i've posted this on another forum, but when you reach this stage you will soon realize how stupid you were for crying on the forums because you couldnt find a group when you were unranked. Also, after beating many incompetent r6 pugs, you will notice that you never missed out on anything and that rank means very little. You will hate rank and hope it gets erased.

Ok, I retract my previous opinion. Running heroway is still fun, but constantly facing it gets stupid...
Last night, not primetime, but not "dead hour" either, around 1 AM EST, we got to halls and saw... a heroway holding and a heroway on the other side.
The holding team clearly had no idea wtf they were doing. We pushed them, they backed up and camped midway through the blue corridor. We degened their ghost to about 5% at 2:00, while they still camped the same spot. Our warrior ran up and whacked it. Blue team lost at 1:59. Like, wtf? I can MAYBE understand how idiots like these get to halls, but how did they cap that altar?
Is this some kind of a bad joke?

Trolling is fun. I figured I'd get an answer like this.
I do hate rank and hope it'll get erased.
My guild goes to HA several times a week, and we're definitely on our way to making it to HoH on a regular basis. We're coming up with our own builds and trying to play them well.
Calling me a crybaby is a stretch, since I do play the game instead of sitting and complaining on forums. I'm not one of the ones complaining about Heroway, after all.

They might as well remove the chest that appears after winning HoH, no one deserves anything after winning Halls, in fact the global message might as well be removed as well.
What's the point of having favour if it's being won by NPCs half the time?
I enjoyed winning in HA before Nightfall, it's senseless now.

its so amusing to see all these people that hate Heros in Ha. Personally im all for them, Its good for them to be there for everyone. Experienced HA'ers will easy defeat them and gain fame (the main reason for being there) and if they dont then they need to make a betta build. It allows more teams to enter Ha so theres more fights so people of lower ranks have a greater chance of gaining ranks and experience rather than being stuck versing already highly experienced people and not even having a chance to learn. The main reason people complain about them either not not actually as good as they let on and dislike getting owned, they get 'bored' of beating hero teams erm like hows that possible? everyone likes winning especially in HA or they complain its not PvP but as said before henchies have always been there and dont forget atleast 1 real person has to be in the team (unless theve left for some reason) so its still PvP by defintion even if its Player vs Players.

How is it boring to fight the same team over and over again? Any godmode in game is cool for 5 mins-an hour, but after that, the new part is over, yawn another team, jey flawless, aren't we having fun?
Actually I like it better getting owned by a hero team, than winning flawless, if we lose from a good team, at least I got to do something as a monk.
And indeed there is one player, now if this player is a good player, it will still be PvP, sort of, ish, not really though, since your fighting more bots than players, so it would be 1* player vs player, and 7* player vs bots (if you'd say that every person fights a single person on the other team).
Now if it's a bad player, that person isn't even relying on his skill anymore, so you're not fighting the player's skills anymore, only the hench AI.
And henchway was never massive.
Anyway, it's boring, but yes if you are the person that farms, go farm, or no wait, go play WoW/runescape/whatever, your amount of farming (leveling) determines how good you are there.
Anyone who plays it for the PvP aspect will get bored by these heroes.
