Build:R/any Dazed and Covered
This is a build I invented, works well in small arena's and AB. It's all on the guildwiki entry, just open and read that.

A ranger build designed to cause dazed, and cover. No energy worries, and high damage. Works very well in RA and TA, if you get a monk on your team, as this build has no self heals

"High damage" with no real damage skills, and an interrupt bar? You're using Broad Head as an elite in PvP? Pin down, interrupts, dazed and bleeding... I look at this and my first thought was "why not use an apply/cripshot build" since you're trying to cripple, cause degen and interrupt. :/
"If you get a monk on your team"... That's usually auto-win in RA anyway, no matter how bad your team is.

BHA+screaming shot+apply sucks less.
I've used BHA arrow in HA. it's not that bad, it just requires that you be in intercourse range to land it.

I've had a R/A in RA teleport directly to me in RA and use broad head arrow. With the player's intentions obvious, I spent the dazed duration using dash to seek out places on the map that were out of line of sight (no monk on my team to remove dazed) to cast reaper's mark and p-bond on the opposition. While the ranger did not get to actually interrupt any of my actions it still functioned much like migraine in reducing my efficiency during its duration.
Still, there are better ranger elites for any player that actually knows how to use savage and distracting shot.

no ranger builds are good because rangers suck anyways.
but if I was to use a ranger, it would probably look something like this:
cripple shot [E]
distracting shot
savage shot
screaming shot [sub out for res sig unless you plan to run a two man split gank]
apply poison
natural stride
troll unguent
signet of malice
Atts:
16 expertise
10 wilderness
10 marksmanship
gear:
1 rune of vitae + druids armor + hunter's mask
minor rune marks, minor rune wilderness, superior rune expertise
crippling recurve bow of fortitude
+5 energy
crippling recurve bow of fortitude
15>50
vampiric shortbow of fortitude (or elemental or why not both)
15>50
some kind of longbow as well.

I agree there are better elites, but it's fun. I play blinding surge e/a in randoms not expecting to win, but just to piss off warriors.
