ZB and Divert in the hands of 2 good prot monks are enough to keep the red bars up. People love healing because it's easy. Prot is much more difficult to do well, because it's more efficient to prevent the damage than to heal it, so you have to "heal" the damage before it comes. You have to actually watch what's going on, and pay attention to things other than red bars going down. RC is good too, but ZB is priceless on altar maps.

Let's not forget damage mitigation from the offense, it's not just for GvG you know.

You don't need all that bs to keep a team alive, you just have to not suck. Since almost everyone is horrible and can't prot vs ele's, everyone runs uber-defensive builds that take hours to kill anything with. The fact that "holding" builds have to sit and stand still while spamming skills on recharge and actually win shows how pathetic the average monk is. The state of HA is quite depressing right now.

haha, ironic you say that. I was observing Power is a Tank, and he was playing the W/E ward spammer. It was quite hilarious watching him /dance for 30 seconds on the altar, and then seeing "Blue Flawless Victory".
