Of course, getting some gold could be nice just so that inviting members/guests wouldn't add up when you have little money and no PvE characters left...

Yes... I've been so poor since shiverpeak running was wtfpwned. Throw us poor gladiators a bone.
I also still stand by eliminating gladiator points awarded for 10 wins in RA. A more appropriate award for this type of accomplishment would be a "lucky" point, and an unlucky point for entering TA before 10 wins, or losing in RA at 9 wins. In other words, yes, I'm doing my best to make a mockery out of RA awarded gladiator points because if an RA team can't win 10 in TA, there's no reason it should get the same credibility for winning 10 in RA. Please sign if you agree.

To be honest I couldn’t give two £$%$ about RA that cesspool can stay as it is for all I care.
Though I have to agree that there needs to be an improvement to Team arenas, I personally have campaigned in the past on these forums to improve team arenas.
Imo most of the pvp arenas in Guild wars are slowly degenerating into complete trash for example, alliance battles, random arenas and heroes ascent.
With the exception of GvG, Ta is basically the last bastion for players that want to pvp on some serious level. As many of you have stated implementing some sort of incentive into Ta would increase the competition.
I have to agree that Ta wouldn’t make good observer mode material in terms of entertainment, as most of the fights with the exception of one or two are usually very one sided. Observing Ta matches would be the equivalent of super heavy weight boxing matches, the fight is over before the audience get a chance to even get settled in their seats.
I must say why do things by halves an increase in faction here and there who cares, I think that a tournament at the end of every month is a great idea, maybe make a league table or ladder and the top 7 or 10 teams fight it out at the end. For an in game prize of 30k to each winning participant, a rare item like a pet and a full set of “Champions armor” this could be a rare set of armor only for those that win a tournament in team arenas. Teams only earn the cape if they win more than 3 tournaments in a year.
I have to say that if Ta is going to be improved so would the format of the matches, make it in the mould of gvg were you need a good combination of tactics as well as hack and slash in order to prevail.

If anet did something to spruce up TA, and they managed to not screw it up I'm pretty sure it would be a big hit. Like, a very big hit to be honest. The only thing people really have against TA is that the competition isn't always...well, competitive. But that's because outside of glad points, there's really no real reason to TA if you don't find it enjoyable.
Frankly, people want to be noticed. You get noticed when you're good at GvG, you get noticed when you're good at HA (though that's becoming less of a show), but you get nothing for TA. If they could somehow succesfully add an observer mode to TA I think it would bode very well and bring in quite a bit more competition and a bit more respect to TA.
Basically if everybody comes and starts playing in TA, the main reason it's looked down upon won't be a problem anymore.
