Shadow Prison has its own problems, such as giving away the spike. Putting it on your skillbar doesn't give you license to slack off. |

It's a pretty ridiculous debate either way. Who cares if you have to sit in Zealous a fair amount of the time to keep Frenzy energy up? You're losing 3 points of damage a hit from Vampiric, but that's next to nothing in the context of the skills being compared. Neither skill allows you to use Vamp to begin with.

Oh I agree, it's not significant at all in the larger scheme of things. But I think arguing that one option requires you to take a certain weapon hilt and the other doesn't is disingenuous.

I've always been a fan of the conjure war in HA, its a sweet little DPS boost, especially nice on a single war, tasked with taking down degened targets in hex/condition builds.
I used to run: 16 axe/9 strength/10 air Eviscerate [e] Axe Rake Executioners Frenzy Sprint Shock Conjure Lightning Rez Perhaps a little old fashioned for HA wars now days, but I haven't been near the place since heroes were allowed in. |

Last time we used Conjure warriors in HA we had 3 and it looked like this:
1) Aero Warrior 12 Air 14 Axe 9 Strength Frenzy Rush Disrupting Chop Lightning Surge Lightning Orb Conjure Lightning Glyph of Lesser Energy Rez Signet 2) Hydro Warrior 12 Water 14 Axe 9 Strength Frenzy Sprint Disrupting Chop Shatter Stone Vapor Blade Conjure Frost Glyph of Lesser Energy Rez Signet 3) Pyro Warrior 12 Fire 14 Axe 9 Strength Starburst Dismember Crit Chop Distrupting Chop Frenzy Rush Conjure Flame Rez Signet We had 1 Dom Mes + 2 Monks along. It was totally hilarious and we rolled over many very good teams. What we did was just pressure their softies non-stop with warriors on their back doing huge damage cause of Conjures in Frenzy and we did elemental spikes doing LSurge/LOrb-Shatter/Vorpal-Dismember-Crit Chop-Starburst. The spike killed someone straight from full once LSurge-Shatter went off (Mesmer took care of protective enchants thrown). All adrenal was mostly used for Disrupting Chop so we spammed a lot of that. It was pretty funny cause most people sent anti-war stuff on our back but then we could still spike very well, and if they sent anti-caster stuff we'd just pressure. The wars were a true pain to shutdown. We got to HoH but one of our monk was err7 and we had Healer Hench so we didn't win it. Note that this was just before Nightfall, after the skill balance but before Paragons were release. Still that's the most fun i had with Conjure Warriors =p |

I'm not gonna try to defend that this build is the best thing around. But it's better than most think of at first glance. With GoLE, Shatterstone-Vapor just cost 5E. And at 12 Water, it deals 85+85+111 damage (281 total). It's useful as cover hex for LSurge. Note that with the current Divert Hexes it might not work at all, but it wasn't there then. LSurge-LOrb did around 200 damage, Shatter-Vapor did around 200-280 damage, Dismember-Crit Chop-Starburst was around 300 damage. It was more than enough usually to take down someone. Even warriors were dying pretty straight. |

Lack of Conjure Earth is actually a bummer. Australian Metagame [sux] used to a pretty wicked pressure-spike by having their warriors all turn around and cast Obsidian Flame at some guy.

Conjure is nice, but I'd rather add in another adrenaline attack skill or a disrupt/snare or something else in 8v8 or 6v6. It rules RA now though...
