Everytime i go to HA i can never get a group even though i can play any build and have experience. I have been to hall of Heros once and that was because i found a decent group. All i see if Sf this and Sb that. Ranger are still usefull you know. Im tired of getting crap groups with people who dont listen and these same people are disgracing the ranger profession.

If you want to play a build isn't commonly and widely accepted in the meta, you can't really expect groups (esp higher ranked ones) to accept whatever build you're trying to run. Teams usually have a set team build they're setting up for, and if you aren't running what they're looking for then why should they accept you? If you want to get in a good HA group, you need to be flexible. If it's something off the wall you can't try with a pug, either create your own team or use guildies/friends.

Somebody finds a broken build and everyone starts using it.

Somebody finds a broken build and everyone forgets the last broken build and starts using the new one.

Here's what I mean.
Rangers = broken
Ritualists = brokener
Paragons and Dervish = more brokener.

See how it works?

Well Rangers are not so underrated lately as mesmers. You can find Ranger in Holding Teams [RaO Thumper]also in this Necro-Minion-Factory-Hex Team....and mesmers ...yeah ...where are mesmers??

Lol. Funny, but sadly true.

I think the topic opener has a problem tho. If your so rooted to just one class, you wont really be able to fit into the popular builds unless ur class IS in the Fotm builds or if you are a monk. If you want to fit a ranger into a group, either design the teambuild yourself, or wait for the metagame to change and be more accepting of rangers.

play what you want to play. specialize. when the meta demands your class, you'll be easily noticed. (unless its spike of course coz the caller steals the show).

I can play any build and its even harder to find holding groups. Im not really into elementalists that much either. I like rangers and i worked hard to get almost all the skills and usuable elites for him.
