Way to take what he said out of context. Sure, PvP has NPCs in it, but the majority of the combat is focused on defeating other players, the NPCs just add something to the side. However, the current HA state revolves around killing NPCs + 1 player. GvG is an 8 player + some NPCs vs 8 player + some NPCs... Theres a BIG difference.

I wrote a way longer post on this in 1 of the billion other topics on heroes in HA and I can't be bothered to re-type or to dig through the billion heroway topics to find it (ya, I'm lazy).

first of all, no ra and ta dont have any npc's exept the priest matches. and for things like the ghostly and guild lord, who do you have to kill to get to them? people! vs the zashen ai befor you go to the uw in ha are just to give you a morale boost/a nd or filter out the unworthy from getting into uw. but what i dont like is that the MAIN people that you are fighting are npc's. oh and heros are also similar to pve by one thing: their build. in pve, a monsters programming tells it to kill its enemies and has a specific build to do it with. the g lord and ghostly are specialised npc's no to kill. the ghostly is just something there to cap alters and do some other menial dmg. same with the g lord, but he just gets to stay in one place (until vod of course) and he is considered an objective by the apposing guild.

to keep it simple:
I dont have anything against hero's
hero's are a good way to test somthing
hero's are good for new people who want to try pvp
hero's and pvp work good together if they stay in hero arena's, because then its Player + hero's Vs Player + Hero's
hero's have no place in Ha because its Player Vs Player
Hero arena should have a title like Ha so people have a reason to play Hero arena's

Thats exactly what im thinking. I really DON`T hate hero`s butt i dont think they belong in ha.

before the time of heroes in HA, Guild Wars HA was an wonderful team-based competitive game because it matches two teams on equal ground such that the only differences between the two teams are skill and skills (builds).

Putting 6 humans against 5 ai + 1 human just changed all that. With no disrespect two either sex, HA heroway vs 6 human right now is like a boxing match or a beauty contest between a man and a woman. Yes both side have an equal chance of winning, but they're not on equal ground. They are just DIFFERENT. All the man out there, think about it, you ever play sport against a woman? do you enjoy it? (in a competitive sense). So please make HA either a woman or man only arena.

Whaaaaaaa? Do I enjoy competitive play with women? As state champion in greco style wrestling three times in a row and 3rd in the nation my most difficult matches were against women..and I get my ass handed to me in Jujutsu by my girlfriend. So yes, I find competing against women challenging.

played ping pong with a girl once, got rolled 21-0, she was a pro, lol.
I did enjoy her company, but not the game.
I think I know what you mean, the same way feels hero sf team when meeting real ppl.
