yeah a bit off topic. and kinda false.
I joined from a random Obs mode i was watching. the reason i let one of my tags join was because my vent hasnt been working. the reason i was kicked was about i got tired of Cokes constant /wine and said something. lets just say half the pvp community knows about him and his fits.
But yeah i need to take the tag out of my profile. i dont want me to be known as gvging with you guys
PS nice showing at finals. what was it 0-6? You guys are a joke.

I would just like to point out that Alliance Battle and Fort Aspenwood and The Jade Quarry aren't really PvP grounds. The PvP grounds is all at the Battle Islands but you can take your PvP char there but you don't gian any Balthazar Faction.I would say PvP is fixed although PvE is still broken.

I think that we should make punishments for the ragequitters and leavers, but not make it long-term, because we all have emergencies that pop-up in our lives that are more important than killing someone or capturing an extra altar in PvP. Now that disconnects are fixed, Guild Wars should have an easier time creating punishments for the players that leave. For the leechers, if someone is just standing there and not doing anything for about five minutes, they should get auto-mapped back to the waiting area..

The factions PvP modes are part-and-parcel of Anet's attempt to bring PvP and PvE closer together. Every time Anet has tried to do this it has failed horribly. Instead we end up with two strong gameplay modes that while based on similar sets of skills and items, play in completely, unbridgeably different ways. I don't mean to argue that their idea is necessarily bad, just that the fruits of it have never proved popular.
For example, I imagine the rationale behind the favor system originally was that, since there was no endgame content but the realms of the gods, elite players in a country would focus on playing the original tombs (now HA) until their region had favor, then they go in and get the phat l3wt from FoW/UW. Instead a set of PvPers focused on farming rank and getting money/prestige from holding halls, while PvErs farmed griffons or trolls until the country got favor.
Anet tried to rehash their idea again in factions with various variations on competition, this time there is "responsibility" because you don't get easy access to the elite mission unless your alliance (and probably you) chips in. Unfortunately chipping in had nothing to do with running great 4-player teams in AB or dominating the record boards on the challenge missions, it simply came down to having alliances of very large guilds playing a 2-minute repeatable quest over and over and over, and maybe seeding AFKers in AB/aspenwood when you got tired of it. Playing competitively is not the best way to get faction, hence you will not see anyone seriously competing for it, and must deal with your groups of touch-rangers.
By the way, the significant faction gain you get even when losing, which encourages leechers, is actually there to cut down on the ragequits, who used to leave at the slightest indication that this particular group wasn't going to win the match.
The solution I think is hero battles and variations on that. This gives the solo PvPists an outlet that doesn't rely on your randomly assigned teammates aka potential jerks. If from now on, all new PvP modes were either different objectives for one player and heroes, or else for fully-formed non-random teams, you would never have to deal with these issues again.
I have to say though, currently AB is in such a sorry shape that a well-made team of 4 that stays coordinated, and focused on capping rather than killing, will tend to dominate the play field and secure a win for their side regardless of what the rest of your team is doing. I don't AB with guildies much because when I do there's no challenge or contest at all, and my guild isn't even very l33t or PvP-oriented.

Yeah Most PvP is fixes except for a few. HB has its dice rollers, basicly easy way to get title. HA has its eliteist people who require experianced players to join them and dont let the new blood in. I got Prophacies for a friend of mine to play and he wanted to HA but its hard for him to get into any good groups unless i start them with him.

Alliance battles is pvp? I always thought I was fighting 12 AI characters who seem to have real names. You can pull them just like other monsters, and they stay on you no matter how far you run or how many times you put shield of judgment up.

Yeah it is amazing. no matter how many times your "Your all alone!" them they keep gimping.
Personally id hope that by killing off a few reasons players decide not to play sertin PvP based games maybe that issue would self correct itself. More experiance=better play. A massive reason i decided to stop top GvG battle was because of eliteist. I enjoy not taking myself TOO serious during play but when my fun is interupted by these things it takes you away from your experiance and puts you into a foul mood.
