Wonder if Reconnects will work when players just don't load though. Doubt it since you're not actually in the game.

Party search is the new place for advertising goods, from what I've heard on the forums. Haven't seen it myself. The reconnects is like sex on a stick though

Does that mean that they can still bash on poor immobile me, and Ill get dp? Did someone checked that already?

Well I highly doubt that you'll be 'removed' from the world or made invulnerable as this could lead to a number of exploitable situations (you're ganking. people coming your way. plug out network cable. disappear from game. plug back in 1-2min later. bam!).

I believe in most cases it'll still take you about 15+ seconds to get back into the game, and depending on what gets a disconnect (monk/warrior) could be game deciding anyway.

This, however, is the best Anet can do and it's great that they've finally done it.

No don't think so...

Your ganking => disconnection ! => you're not here anymore but your char stay in enemy base and get a big slap in the head !
=> reconnection => surprisingly you are at the rez shrine ! /doh

Anyway, quick glance at party search in LA reveals a bunch of blank quest lines, a bunch of miscategorized trade stuff, a lot of real trade stuff, and a bunch of spam like "YOUR MOM AND HER COKIES IF ANY"

Ironically, at the current rate, party search is going to become a merchant house and chat will be used for party searching. Oops?

Sadly yes. If you were removed from the world then it would be far too open to exploit.

As it is; being disconnected basically just separates you from your character, as if you were AFK. The other team can kill you, cast spells on you, you will base res... whatever.

The good thing is that most Err-07s simply log you out, you can log back in in an instant. Too bad most of my disconnects result from my crappy router.

Wow, thats annoying. Such a great feature being exploited. Maybe the best solution is just to give in and add a trading category to the window...
