Only a dumbass paragon would get his incoming fake spiked. Incoming = instant activation. SoMW = 2 sec cast. If they just chuck up incoming soon as they see u use SoMW, they suck. Wait untill its just about done casting (too late too cancel) and then hit incoming. That being said majority of the people that still play HA are dumbasses so I can see how fake spiking can save you.

atm, if u run a build that can actually kill the ppl holding halls in time. u dont have enough power to hold. its hard to find a good build that can kill and hold... this is one of them
every build got its counters. this build gets raped by enchantremoval. no enchantremoval = 99% win , no matter how good they are.
if ur not any good, just run a build thats very good against one thing. then ur sure ur atleast win against those teams instead of winning nothing
edit: id like to see ur 2 paragon + 2 thumper kill monk spike

This is a pretty good build, in essence. However facing a grenths derv is no rare thing anymore. A good grenths will just simply have a field day against a somw team.
All in all this isn't an overly tough build to run. You put up your enchants on everything before the timer, than count to three a couple times gg. It doesn't really take any skill to heal anybody that's not actually taking damage. But we all know how tough spiking can be.

Lately i have seen very few teams that run the dual thumper build anymore. Ok lol 50% of those teams were heroway, but more and more ppl seem to go for thumper / dervish setup
Point is, ppl arent blind. they know that the standard holding build cannot take down a SOMW or even an earthball spike, so they adapt.

Wait, you couldnt have just figured it out urself??? wow thats funny "chuckles" it dosent take much to make a SoMW spike, since it is a rather highly defensive spike, kinda like that old smite ball spike. Man that dies with AoE elites lol.

YEAH, it SO isn't throwing up all your enchantments and standing around. YEAH, definitely. It's so hard to run SoMW.

The only downside is the 20 second recharge and 2 second cast of SoMW.

got to love NR popping up when you run a SoMW spike. it's definitely the most exciting part of running this build, akin to whack-a-mole... very boring build.
also annoying when you come across angelic bonders.
