after getting owned by this monk spike (i know noob me) , i tried it myself and it worked very good. we lost in halls do, nr/tranq rapes this pretty much. the hardest part is finding the players who wanna do this

it works very simply, in the beginning u get all your enchantments up, the mo/n uses blood ritual on the 3 bonders, the bonder with song of concentration gets tons of adrenaline, so he can use song all the time so interrupts dont own u all the time, its important that every body calls their enchantments (healing seed, healing hands...)
also use all enchantments on the ghoslty,(including essence bond, so u get tons of energy) before every spike get all enchantments up (channeling, aegis...) to do as much damage as possible

gl trying this build
edit: some leetist will think this is lame... name a build thats not atm , have u seen dual smite? its so cheap, atleast this is something exciting :P

I raped 5/5 groups i meet today ^^.
Dual dervish smite with Gaze of contempt / winds of dissenchentment ownz. And NR tears this build apart ^^

it's slow, but if u hold and enemy doesnt have NR / massive enchant removal it's gg.

You need some form of interupts or as you said, NR/Tranq = gg. I took 3 copies of leech sig when I ran this and that seemed to do the trick.

HH and seed? Why? If you're bringing 3 copies of seed you don't need to have HH, bring a better elite, WoH is a better idea IMO. Mantra of inscriptions is also very nice on the bonders and mantra of persistance on the non-bonders so that the spike is less likely to get interrupted (relying on only 1 char to not get interrupted is a very bad idea. If he dies or is pressured your spike is immediately vulnerable).

As to playing against this build, we've only lost to it once. It's really easy to outplay it, the key is pre protting key chars and having a good infuser for the rest. Degen also works wonders (nr/tranq is the obvious counter). It's a decent holding build, but it's not my cup of tea, really.

I played balanced against this build earlier today in scarred earth. It was my team and a searing flames team against this. Very annoying, took almost 30 minutes to finally kill us.

The whole dmg isnt going above 30. They are too overproted to kill them without mass enchant removal / NR/Tranq.

I agree on taking out the HH. I'd got for two Healing Lights. You get a self-heal and little bit more energy.

On the Bonder I'd take out Res Sig for another Aegis. 5 sigs is enough, and Aegis gets exponentially better the more copies you have. It stacks well with Mystic Wrath too.

My guild's NR/tranq team got a draw vs this, last night with relic run.
Anyway...this build kills very fast, too bad it's slow recharge.

I'd go for more enchantments and less points in smiting prayers.

Yea this build does work pretty well. I was using teh noobish SB and got owned at the courtyard with it. Any team can barely do any damage to it .. the only weakness is enchantment removal really.

The builds OK.

I decided to see what heroway was about, and by the way it's pretty lame, so I went in with it. I faced a group like this at scared. They really couldnt spike my henchies down. I resigned because it was like facing runner bspikers all over again. 15ish minutes later they held. Then held again. The only reason this build is good because of its insane defense/holding ability. The spike itself isn't overly good.

That's the best in it, when I play warrior in our current usual build, than usually I just go to them uses frenzy & when the clever caller kills me, we just use glyphsacc+profaine & after that usually they live like 30 more seconds

Its not really you avoiding the well its more or less the ghost... The build has nothing to do if their ghost dies. Sure, you may say " Oh yeah we'll just spike the other ghost " Chances are your team is getting ganked by then and getting a full spike off is hard. Not to mention it is insanely easy to protect the ghost in altar matches mainly because everyone focuses on him, or your monks.
