To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Aegis Byrth Ascalonian Squire Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Just entered Hyperspace Guild: HOTS Profession: W/	Feedback on my Double Surge build Here it is http://gwshack.us/6d08c 2 Der, 1 Blidbot/Spike Air Ele, 2 Surge mesmers with utilities Seeing how Blidbots are common right now, both melees are not-blindable (until avatar goes down/ 2+ enchants get stripped). Main aoe/spike damage is from the Surge->Spiritual Pain->Energy Burn mesmers. The Only interrupt/snare is gale on the Ele (who can also partcipate to occasional spikes, with Orb->strike->BlindSurge) This is my first full build, and i'd really appreciate suggestions/considerations before trying to run it with my guildies edit: for reference, this was the first version of the build http://gwshack.us/18d77 - i updated it after the feedback on irc ( thanks all guys )

Manfred Krytan Explorer Join Date: Oct 2005	So this is a spike... eh, okay... Looks interesting, but I think the monks and mesmers could do with a changeup. Although mesmer nonelites (you've missed diversion and wastrel's demise) are powerful right now, in a spike you can likely do better than Energy Surge. Some form of eman perhaps? Oh, and why draw conditions at all?

I Phoenix I Jungle Guide Join Date: Jan 2007 Guild: The Elite Lords of Chaos [LoC] Profession: R/	I'm not too sure about 2 BLight's...perhaps make one ZB/Infuse instead? I would rather have a Glyph Sac + Res Chant on the Ele and Aegis on the Mesmer than Aegis on the Ele and Res Chant on the Mesmer. I think that Dismiss Condition should be on at least one of the Monks, as Mend Condition is soso at self removal. Not much else I can think of...perhaps one more SoA on the Monks? So that you will have SoA when the Flag Runner is running.
