That doesn't really work when your build is so gimped that you can't beat anyone half-decent and most of the people you beat are so bad that they can't tell why mindshock on a warrior would be a bad idea...

Lol. Sometimes, builds that seem gimped are actually amazing rolling builds, ^_^. However, mind shock on a warrior is just.... bad.
Yea, but seriously fun times.

[OoOo], [Kame], and [Ghey] are pretty dominant in TA atm, to get back on topic. and not [ez].

When I see statements like this, I wonder about the timezones of the guilds. I don't play much TA myself these days, so I'm not critising anyone, just wondering.
Isn't that 'Dominant' is pretty relative? I mean, you can be dominant in your timezone and the timezones near you, but you're not playing in all timezones. So at the same time that these 3 guilds aparantly are dominant in that particular part of the world, shouldn't there be more guilds that are 'dominant' in other timezones?
Just food for thought.

edit: it was today. I do not remember who was the necro, but he commited suicide with backfire

My apologies for the tangent. There's only a small window of the 24 hour day that I haven't played in TA enough to notice any more formidable groups, but Like So has got some play in during those hours and made several positive remarks about the metagame that dominates that timeframe. We didn't pick up on any consistent dominant "guilds", but the majority of the teams had such a different approach that probably 80% of the matches required much more effort than 80% of matches during our normal hours demand. From what I heard the common theme was a combination of monk shutdown and a gank assassin that camp wards until they're able to shadowstep+KD+blackout+dagger chain+shame+diversion --> gg monk.

Yeah lol! One night I played through until 9:00am US EST. There’s some coordinated Asians out there, very coordinated. I think between 7:30am and 9:00am I hit 8-9wins three times before being crushed by some sorta crazy metagame.
Things would go something like this... Holy Veil Shattered, Oops shoulda cover enchanted, Shame coming... *phew* ty hex breaker, Backfire coming, thumpers please interrupt something!... Sandstorm Warder... Yep we were screwed, every time I took a blackout their rampage as one thumper would be assisted by an obsidian flame, GG.
An even crazier battle I fought that morning had another Sandstorm Warder (ugh), a Toucher (lol?), and an A/Me. Ok I either got lazy (was barely awake) or their assassin was even more gimmick than I could have known (he possibly had multiple hexes and enchantment removal). Regardless, while we were trying to get a ward against melee interrupted, the toucher ran up on me just as I got hit with shadow prison, offhand, dual, blackout.... Oh great! I just got touched to death.
Haha the morning was equally exciting as frustrating, we may never know them by name, but there’s definitely some Asian Primetime teams dominating TA.

Over the past few weeks we haven't had much competition in TA. It's pretty much on par with PvE.
Ghey and Kame put up the best competition but we haven't really lost to them for a while. OoOo we haven't run into but they are great players- so we normaly work with them on our teams.
