TA can be serious JR. I love how you make a sarcastic joke about TA, yet you guys felt the need to take it seriously enough to brag about beating us?
And tbh, winning 5 games really isn't anything to get excited about.

ofc it isn't.
the best thing is to beat you 5 times in a row and then see you enter with a slightly modified mirror build.
<3
enough about that though, you're a good TA guild and it's fun to fight you each time we meet.
keep up the good work.

'' yet you guys felt the need to take it seriously enough to brag about beating us? ''
JR isn't bragging he's just pointing out that your previous statements aren't objective.
It doesn't matter how many runs you run, but what matters is that when you run you win, and as for me i can easily say i'm hardly losing any match when i form and play TA.
Also the so called '' ICE '' teams usually consist of 1-3 ice members, i doubt we'd hardly ever ran with 4 of them.
Further more, the current build we run, is just a farming build as i want to unlock my stuff with factions, and this is an enjoyable way of doing so.
This however doesn't mean i can't run anything balanced, some of you might know me under the name Leon Zero, and know that i have ran a lot of succesfull balanced builds aswell, but obviously i will play which is the most sufficient and efficient for my goals, and currently this is just getting my stuff fully unlocked.
And no offense to all the so called '' pro TA teams '', there are enough good ones out there and it's fun to play em, so keep up the competition

I'm dominating TA with this build:
I solo it BTW
Mo/W
Frenzy
Heal Signet
Mending
Healing Breeze
Charge {Elite}
Bane Signet
Signet of Capture
Life Attunement
I use a Fiery PvP Axe of Warding with a 15% vs Hexed Mod

I love playing against you Karla, you're one of the better TA monks around to be honest.
And Leon, going in with 3 members and letting Karla monk really doesn't say a whole about ICE. It simply means Karla is a very good monk. Basically everybody can effectively play a thumper, I should know.

Yes Karla is a good monk,
But surely i hope your wiser then to think that's it's only Karla
Also if i wasn't aware of what i did i doubt i would have been arguable the first Deadly and Terrifying Glad ingame while running balanced in TA

No, I'm not saying Karla was the only reason. But she obviously played a bigger part in it than you seem to be grasping.
And uh...who really cares if you were the first this or that? Doesn't really mean anything to be honest. Seems like somebodys got a wee bit of an ego going on.

seems like someone doesn't understand the difference between an argument and an ego,
Also assumptive personal attacks are rather cheap,
I'm just playing the game and i hope you do to, so instead of trashtalking beat us when we play ^.~

I'd actually give less credit to the people that hit high glad tiers early, as there was far less competition when glad points were first implemented.. =/

Hmm.
IMO Glad titles mean very little. Every time I see someone strutting around with a Deadly Glad or the like, to me, that person is saying "I'm awesome at mowing lawns."
Ok. You may be awesome, but you're awesome at something nobody really cares about and isn't very hard to be awesome at.
For now, I'm happy pimpin the Sunspear General.

IMO any title means little.
the thing it usually says is that one has played a lot in a certain arena etc.

oh, so an r12 hero and maybe r4 champion have a greater value in your opinion?
I can't help but think that an opinion like that comes from either a HA player... or someone who never played TA/gave up too soon/was never successful there etc etc.
correct me if i'm wrong though.
@absum, there may have been less ppl around the start and before the points were implemented, but then again that also meant there was no farming builds yet, so balanced was the most frequent build one met there, meaning one usually gained a rank not by farming but by playing in a balanced team, usually with same ppl all the time.
I played around 90 % of all my TA matches in a balanced team (ie. the old school balanced with mor boon, blinder, shutdown mes and warr/thumper with devastating hammer).
There was always competition in TA, times change though, and now farming builds became a frequent occurence, meaning many teams farm their glad points now...or just do faction farm as i do atm
also, i'm taking here about the european servers...i don't know how thiings were like at american servers back then o_O
but to sum it all, I think TA is one of the most enjoyable places one can play at and i'd never wanna change it for HA or gvg.
=)

I've been playing TA since it was at Droks, and the competition has improved since then but only a little. I stopped TA once I hit rank3 Glad. This was from TA almost exclusively in international districts. When on occasion I ventured into American districts, the skill level of the players there was horrendous and most games were finished in 40-50 seconds during "primetime."
I HA'ed just enough to grab rank3 on the double fame weekend.
And yes, Champion and Hero titles hold greater value IMO. Quite frankly, because Hero comes with an emote and Champion is harder to get.

I'm stuck at 9,600 castellan >.<;;
And at that other person, yes champion and hero titles mean sooo much more than gladiator. For a gladiator title you can just roll through nub teams in TA, but for champion you have to fight and beat guilds with over 1200 rating...a little more challenging wouldn't you say? And r12...any idea how much fame that is? And unless you're with experienced people and doing ha for a month straight, that title is pretty hard to get.

Who is dominating TA?
I'm taking a wild guess, that soon Koss, Dunkoro, Acolyte Susuke and Zed Horsey will dominate TA...

I know people who have farmed to r5 in ONE day.
To be honest, it's not really that the competition in HA is that much better...it's just that there is actually strategy involved. And there are some people that know the strats better than others. It doesn't take any more skill than TA, there's just more strategy involved IMO.
