Mr Silk Weaver Sir,
I will say this without trying to make offense, but you have a very narrow minded approach to things. The is a skill, I'm sure you may be aware of, called "Mending Touch". I also hope you realise, that Expertise affects Touch Spells, and Touch Skills. So, Mending Touch > Signet Of Malice, R/Mo > R/A, R/Mo > E/Mo.

The other thing you have mentioned about reaction times, you can use this to help measure:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/sheep/

My average reaction speed was around 0.104 seconds.

Thanks,
Program~

Mending Touch is actually a spell, not a touch skill.

Just tested and you're quite right. Glyphs still work on it though, so it's not as if the skill just has the wrong type listed in the description. Interesting bug.

<-- Hokai, I just changed R/A to R/Mo.

Surely this is not intended? It says touch skills... well spells are skills too.. damn.

That mean I can use Blood Ritual and Healing Touch as well now.

Some of my earlier worries before still apply, and I'd still rather stay out of range, but yes, Mending Touch does give Cripshots a crazy advantage...

Damn, no more comments.

Expertise update some time ago enabled the use of expertise for touch spells as well.

I'm pretty sure a good team would send someone back in the space of 2 minutes 15 seconds.

It actually kills the lord in under a minute. However, you are correct in the team would send someone back; if they have a Mesmer, the ganker is screwed; otherwise, they have to send back a Monk to babysit the Lord.

I think we recently came up against an E/D, and our leetsauce cripshot was able to take him down. IIRC.

I tested the E/D with Silk; our version didn't really get hurt by a Cripshot. Any Mesmer devastates it, though.

That said, I'm very bad in cripshotting, so...

xD

our cripshot dshots dshot.

I don't even know if it was the E/D that the cripshot took care of, I'm probably wrong considering you've tested it.

We've been using a necro and a silly sin with a staff (deadly arts purelly). It has dismantled every single yaaa war, mind shock ele, cripple anguish mesmer, shadow prison sin, which every kind of ranger. I am not claiming that we are good at all, but the builds are so unpredictable, that people just forget how to deal with their skills. It makes people grief when they lose to it, but it's hell fun to play with.

My opinion on ganking teams is:
- they should be really fast thinking, and know every skill recharge.
- they should attempt to gank, defend a gank, and act worthy with the "hell mode guys" on the center.
- the most stupid, silly and laughable build you run (keep in mind, decent build), the better chances to win (yeah, believe me, it's so true).
- the x/a with shadow of haste are not smart at all, more like they are cowards, and will get someone in his mistake. Even so, they are doing their job well. Little to none of them can kill lord.

Armor of Earth, Kinetic Armor, Stoneflesh Aura, Mystic Regeneration, and Sliver Armor are the big ones.

Basically, you turn on all your armor/regen enchants so you can't die, then stand next to the lord while the archers shoot at you. Sliver Armor plus whatever damage you brought constantly DPSes the lord, while you're immune to most single gank teams or characters. It would have been a fun build to run in the first week after Nightfall, when everything was pressure and mesmers didn't exist, but these days it's not that strong. Too many Eurospikes running around that can rock your face.

LOD runner FTW?

I think that the main strength of the LOD monk runner is that you dont need to send back a monk against strong ganks as there is a monk back already. If he is any good with positioning and understands his role he should be able to hold out for quite some time.

I guess. I haven't been watching for a while.
