Kelso, this bug has been around since the first day of release pretty much. If you ever did flagrunning in GvG, you'd know that it's far, far more annoying there. It has to do with the server lag, which has gotten progressively worse over last year, and I don't think arenanet can do much about it, as servers are maintained by ncsoft.
The only thing you can do to minimise the effect of this problem is to try to avoid bodyblocks when you're lagging more then normal, or try to let someone else run. Mouseclick-running helps also, although not half as much as most people here seem to think.
P.S. Best way to see this bug is on GvG isles with repair kits. At the start of the game, rush out, get kit, rush it to your bodyguard and drop it as soon as you're at the bodyguard. The kit will land approximately 2/3 - 1 aggro range behind you every time, depending on your lag and whether you have WASD or mouseclick-ran to bodyguard.

The problem as stated in this topic started right around when the /stuck command was introduced. There were probably certain issues prior to that, but none of the magnitude as this one. As for lag, maybe there's some relation with the pathing system and server latency, but it doesn't matter at all whether you as the player are lagging at all. Everyone is susceptible to this blocking bug, whether they live right next to the server, or half a country away.

Can't be arsed to use a skill so now and then while running, if u use a skill you teleport back to the place...
+ you sometimes get the positive version of this 'glitch', you are like in the last 10 secs and its 2 - 2 with the star on the enemy side abd you get body blocked by their entire team, and with 2 secs left u suddenly cap a relic... and yes this pretty negative if you are the loosing team

Didn't know it's in GvG as well since I don't play it that much and now when I do I didn't run fags yet.

It has really nothing to do with your connection. It's bug. And yes it's bug happens to players from time to time.
Please kill the warder for me and stop galing...

Hm,I think it is getting worse. Last couple of days i have noticed a bug (ussually on UW) when you try to run to wards and then cast a spell . For some reason your character just keep running out of wards ( ussually in traps or foes) ignoring your skill command. And sometimes you get teleported back to your starting location like on relic maps. Really annoying.

this is a really annoying bug yeah, you don't have to use a skill to get warped back though, i always use C+space, that works as well. the best solution to this is using a skill/c spacing whenever you (think) you got past a bodyblock and having your teammates inform you whenever you got blocked/are not moving
