Guildwars looks at two things, then decides which one is the longest. 20 second recharge is longer than 16 seconds of disabled, so the 20 second countdown will start. If you'd interrupt a skill with a recharge of 5 seconds for example, it'd be disabled for 16 seconds.

"If target foe is casting a Spell, that Spell is interrupted. The interrupted Spell and all Spells of the same attribute are disabled for 3...13 seconds for that foe."
It's like a blackout for skills of the same type, nothing else. By your theory it means that if you would try to cast meteor shower and it gets powerblocked that you won't have all of your fire skills disabled for 16 seconds? You're wrong.

No, I'm not saying that. Whenever a skill is interrupted, its recharge time will start as if the skill is completed. Some skills add a disabled part to the interrupt. This means that it will be disabled for x amount of time, except if the recharge of the skill is longer than the actually disabling. Yes, the rest of your skills of the same attribute are disabled, but the ward against melee not, since its recharge is longer than the disabled of Power block, so it'll just start its normal recharge.

If your on a map like Frozen/Jade/Druids/Nomads and they are ward camping, RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO the stand team, just push right to the front of their base, and let them ward camp there. If your on any other map where this isn't a viable option, shut down the word via intterupt/diversion or whatever other way you deem necessary.

Or Split.

Are yuo 100% sure about it? I got pblocked couple of times and all of my skills recharged at the same time, even my ward. Don't make me test it for nothing.

Well when I get p-blocked they always seem to recharge at the same time sooo.. maybe im missing something

Start slapping their runner around. Thats why I like to do. Once you start raging on their runner across the map, they come out of those wards real quick, and when they go to ward again, they are so far back that they need to try to push their wards in order to get it back on the flagstand, at this point, easy to interupt or spike the darn warder.

When you PD a casting ritual, it recharges for the recharge of the ritual, not the ~12 second PD. However, if you PB, say, aegis, aegis will recharge for 30 (because it was casting, and its normal recharge is longer than the PB), but all other prot skills will recharge for ~14. If you PB a ward, the casting ward will recharge for 20, while the others go for ~14. If a ward was already recharging, and had more than 14 seconds left to recharge, it would continue recharging normally. If a ward was already recharging, and had less than 14 seconds left, it would start over with 14 seconds to go.
