Builds with 2 copies of extinguish and a draw or RC may become the norm if garbage like discord spikes are allowed to persist. A-net has stated more frequent skill balancing. Let's see how well they live up to that promise.

L O L. Who knew that a 1/4 second cast lamentation would be "balanced" by its recharge? GuildWiki says it so it must be true.

Discord needs to have a 2 second cast time and a 10 second recharge minimum. Then Soul Reaping needs to be fixed.
I dont think its anything to do with the Heros.

Theres a lot of builds like this running around in gvg, a lot of the problem is maps like burning isle and isle of jade, when you get those maps you know its either gonna be some necro team, rit spike, searing lames or fearme train.
Losing against another team because they outplayed you is fine, but losing against a bunch of noobs with a lame build is stupid, thats why i dont go into HA much.

yep, we went out to try that shit. we faced and rolled a few r 500ish guilds and faced the real thing, [Neo], after. we got raped (coz we forgot to put bloodstained on our henchies). i heard they were french but they were good and humble guys.
the build works well in HA too. tbh, it's good if you dont got 8 on in roster and you want to GvG or HA. overpowered? maybe the current monk meta backline builds don't have the enough heals/counters? blessed light or whatever? maybe guys are just overreacting (again, as RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin usual?).
the damage from Ritualist spike spells, which arent even classified as elite, are more overpowered than the damages from this necro build.
btw we ran that extra human coz we got 5 on in roster.

Yes, yes they did. It was a rout, I was watching in horror (and no little amusement).

This build is fun in Hero Battles, but I think they should ban heroes from GvG like they did from HA, and also nerf Discord, the thing is, Hero Minion masters can do the job of a human minion master 100 times better, lol tom, I watched the match between MATH and Neo , you guys got rolled =\.

I think we might of discussed it on observe for the few minutes it was on.
sM got a couple early kills...but of course the heroes are clutch on the corpse control, then it got ugly.
Oh yeah..props to Franco for yelling on alliance chat about the match.

I don't know how we did it, but my guild, Error Seven Operators [Call] rolled [Neo] just a little while ago. I wasn't there, but when I checked the status window and it said "Won the battle with Neo Team. Rating change: +3", I was like "HOLY CRAP." From what my guildies told me, it was a total rout or something too...
I'll post a screenshot of the status window when I get a chance, so I don't get people saying "OMG that's obviously fake u nub ur making it up."
EDIT: Here it is, with irrelevant names and the guild announcement blacked out.

I watched that on observe, you guys were running a split on frozen i think, they had to split into 2 teams, 1human necro and 2 heros went around for the flagstand and pushed in your base from that side, the rest pushed across the doors, you just killing the human necro over and over, and the mes interrupted the key skills on the humans to prevent a full spike, worked pretty well, not sure how to deal with it on one of the lame maps tho.

Discord should go back to its old damage, but require only a hex/enchant OR condition.

It's funny to see Neo's heroes ball up on their isle and they all die in under 3 seconds from good old AoE. No GvG for a week, so that was a fun match O.o.
May I add flawless. Oh and just 1 extinguish + 1 draw just rapes their build. We took no damage when they were all alive as you just keep removing the conditions.

After all these years, I still find hench's godly reflex funny. There is no way a human player can pull off a taste of pain instantly in mid battle among chaos.

I heard heroes aren't allowed for the Celestial Tournament, so this won't be a problem there at least.

This build was pretty useless in HA (faced it) so maybe it's the monks and not the build. Not monks as bad players, but the 2 monk backline or their build.

Hmm
Team Everfrost are one of the best teams in the world, vastly experienced, highly talented. regardless of their build, and I mean literally regardless, my opinion would be that they should be able to beat ANY team containing even one hero, never mind four heroes, just by outplaying them.
if a team containing 4 heroes, and with all due respect to [neo] a team that arent exactly top tier either, can beat one of the best teams in the world, even if that team was running an experimental build they had never played before then the ONLY conclusion you can reach is that there is a massive skill imbalance somewhere, in this case the imbalance being partly in the hero reaction time (this build is easier to run with heroes than with real players) and partly in the discord skill itself. its not instant win ofc, as you need 4 players used to running heroes and who are quite skilled at manipulating the hero AI, but its certainly heavily imbalanced
