Its getting quite annoying sitting around for 30mins - 1hr for 1 AB battle. Some times u get in straight away. Alot of the time u dont. What i am propsing is that Anet open a few more servers for AB.

Flame me if u want.. idc. its my opinion. if it doesnt happen. then it doesnt bother me.

Too bad you are also Kurzick, maybe there is a Luxon guy somewhere that can shed some light on this? I hear the most funny theories about waiting times, varying from full servers to lack of opposing players. If it's full servers, aNet should take responsibility, but if it's lack of opposition then we really should join the luxon side (Worked my arse of for Ally title ><)

What if someone PM's a Luxon player during peak times to test if there's anyone present on the other side? If it's empty in Luxon territory then it's our own problem I'm afraid, but if the luxon side is also crowded more servers are indeed needed. If someone does so, please post here what your findings were to get rid of this annoying phenomenon once and for all

I've already tried that, It was full both at the kurz and luxon side and both side were winning stuff like: <faction side> are too sceared to fight us. (of course i used some censure here)

Lol, it's because your Kurzick. There are more Kurzick than Luxon, and therefore you have to wait for an opponent.

See? that's what I mean! If both sides are full something indeed needs to be done! I don't mind waiting 5 minutes but i've seen cases of 30 FRIGGIN' MINUTES! It's bad customer service for a very popular PvP format. I know some people that have to farm 5k faction because their guild holds a town. At the pace stated above and a little bit of bad luck farming 5k faction a day will be purgatory ><.

OK, you can fast facton farm but it's no option really because it's bloody boring, people join a faction farming guild to do AB or theyre in the wrong guild!

Yes but i have asked mates who are luxon and the seemed to be about the same of people on each side.. and i was still waiting 30mins+.. YES it has a bit to do with either side not having enuff people.. but 99% of the time there is enough people on each side to have many games running at the same time. but there is still a large wait.

Yeah, I very rarely AB. However I went in today with some guildies for something to waste some time, and tbh I wasted more time WAITING for an opposing party than actually playing.

eh! if there arnt enouph teams on either side luxon and kurzak then there wont be a game, even if there are the same amount of people at both area, how many are afk or the likes, and how many are actually in a team and ready for battle.

battles only start if theres enouph teams on both sides. I really dont think this is something anet can fix, if there arnt enouph people in teams then there just arnt enouph.

cant really complain about the servers being full, becouse i really doubt theres enouph people playing AB to do that, concidering holliday events create 80+ servers in each language district with almost max amount of people in each district.

best is just to wait for peack hours when theres allot of people and faction farmers on.

best is to NOT go on on peak hours cause its hard as hell to get in at those times.

its pretty rare for there not to be anyone doin AB this isnt jade quarry. only time there might not be enough people for an AB is like 3am.

i heard there are only 5 AB going on at a time. if thats true then anet really does need to invest in more servers for AB.

*shrug* so i ment to say district instead of server. in anycase how many servers are needed to host that many maxed out discricts. none knows really eccept for anet. so no matter what we presume its all speculation at the end of the day.

This is not a server issue, it is a population issue. I have spoken directly to the developers and tested this myself. There are always far more kurzicks than luxons for whatever reason and so many kurzicks have to wait. Get a friend to guest you to luxon and you will see you never have to wait.

I dont know why is this problem (lack of oposing ppl,full servers) but if its "full servers" something should be done coz its a problem to w8 so much.

I'm guildless at this very moment, but I have noticed that when I was on luxon side, getting in rarely took a long wait. Even if the area looked deserted, there'd be a few other people in other districts also waiting to get in. Kurzick disricts have always been fuller to my knowledge, so indeed, I think the population is the main problem to this issue... but meh, I'm guildless right now, so I don't really care THAT much

Thats what I used to think before I went to the Lux AB and saw it just as full as Kurz. Same noobs yelling "<Opposing Faction> Are too afraid to fight!"
