In hero battles i am having no luck at all,

Warrior (me)

Crippling Slash
Gash
Protector's Strike/Galrath Slash

What i normally do is cap the center shrine and move out from there engaging foes when I can and then capping the shrines, is there something wrong with this build or....?

OUch thats a mess mate. Heres a few tips.
1. too many casters with no real self protect/heals spells ( no ether fest and blood spihon do not count as real self defense) This forces them to be near your (single) monk who is sadly a healing prayers monk and won't survive the first assn attack that comes his/her way.

2. All your charactors have Res skills, what on earth is with that? get rid of that and replace wiht somethign usefull.

3. what is that necromancer even doing? he isnt a real source of dmg, support, hex overload or really anything. If your going for dmg use an ele, if your going for hex over-load lemme go out on a limb here and tell you to go RA for a while and start unlock the Curse attirbute for the necro.

4. I assume the memser is some form of hex hurt. In this case its best you just srap him and get somethign that will survive for more than two seconds by hiself or get a decent monk build which i will cover in

5. Good god man have you not heard the news about healing prayers? I'll assume you havn't and inform you that a prot monk is a much better option. The only time you'll use healing prayers monks are in HA pugs and GvG when you've got another (prot)monk to save your butt and your healing won't be essentially wasted. try using a sheild of Regen/divertheses/ZB or jsut anythign besides a lone WoH healing prayers monk.

6. Also in capping. You really arn't set up for it. Any decent player will be able to split up his charators and gain the atvantage easily. vey rarely do you want to come rolling out straight for the center shrine. on some maps such as the http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Hero_Battles#Maps dessert sands one the center shrine is merely a small option for distracting your oponants attention from a tri outpost shrine powerbase. As also metion in the dessert sands map the Merc shrine there is of much higher improtance than in any other map.THe main flaw of taking the center shrine first is that a player with teh secondary srhien advatages can collapse an win a confronation thanks to an extra player lvl 24 mercenary and battle cry energy,mending and health boosts.

I also suggest you look at the hero vs hero build secion and get a feal for a what a semi streamlined build looks like.
