Hi,
I just registered to the forum and I need your guys help.
I have been playing form Proh started.
I have complete Proh, factions and Nightfall (Busy with my Protector titles of Factions and Nightfall)

The Help I need is in HA, I am rank 3 (255 hard earned fame) but at this moment I am at a standstill, every party i join die in first round.

I am not the best, but I am very good player, I know how to follow calls.
Everyone says, join a PvP guild, Yea-Yea, I am Guild Leader of my guild with 24 active players, where some are very good friends, so i can't just leave. But they are more AB crazy then anything else. I am the only HA Player

So I ask you, please take me in your pro PvP party, teach me to be better?

All I want is to be Rank 12 before GW2

Well, to be honest chances that you'll get rank 12 by GW2 are very small. It's not because you're bad or something it's just that the old holding mode is gone and it's harder to get a 40 fame win now.

About your and HA, it's not all in the PvP guild, play with some people, even your friends, make them try HA and see if they like. After some time you'll have couple of known people and the ones that are good add to your friends list or even invite to your guild.

I think we've already had this discussion on the forum.

Yea, I would shoot for rank six before GW2 comes out. That way, if you do end up getting your tiger, it'll be that much better

1. Incorporate some HA'ers in your guild
2. Get a good friends list of players that have been successful with you
3. Make your own HA groups and keep a tab of who's good
4. Play during noob hours (aka 3-11pm EST), not in middle of the night

And yeah, I wouldn't try aiming for r12. It's just insane :P

Rank 12 is really, really hard to get, and I do believe there are better things in life than to play THAT much. Set your goals for a tiger

Before you will start playing HA, forget about your pve characters you've posted in here. While its possible to pvp with them, pvp only chars are much more convenient and faster to unlock ( equipment and skills ). Also , you might be required to play more classes than those you've posted in here ( complete with pretty pictures :P ).

The only advice I can give you is to keep on trying, and do not count that good teams will take onboard someone they do not know. Try to build your own friendlist, play with people you think are good, and slowly you will start getting more and more fame, along with expanding your friendlist. Start your own teams using builds you've seen winning on observer mode. And dont give up.

Try telling everyone in the district how strong you are, a lot of teams only ask for ranked people because theres a lack of strong people about.

On a serious note (since I don't just want to make fun). Don't play for fame... Play for fun but obviously with a competitive side. E.G. If you go in a group and lose five times in a row (unless you face the top 5 guilds

) then leave that group. Since it's clearly not beneficial to you. I do not mean though that you should be so worked up on getting a lot of fame that it stresses you.

Little things like :

Don't play lame builds.
Don't leave during the match.

Will (by the time you get to like, rank6 or so) be noticed. Sure some people simply don't care, but some do.

You could influence your guild to HA. Or if you find one player from every group you join, or even if it's one player from every other group you join that seems some what good. It might even be one in ten groups. Eventually you will have a friend list you can play with.

You can also ask someone high rank to join their group. Sometimes you get lucky.

Really though, being bugged about fame just depresses you and the people in your f-list.

I don't think I would take you in my group for these reasons :

1) People always say they're good, or alright'ish - they turn out to be terrible.

2) I have five other players on my friend list offering me 3k+ per fame, is no logic in taking you for free.

3) Why would I invite you, when I have someone better on my friendlist

4) The mere fact you've posted a pic of your character (like it matters) kind of worries me.

5) I may not care, someone else in group would.

Having said that though. You can message me to join your group and I might play but at the moment I've been working on making another PVE monk and getting survivor (3). Aslong as it's not a lame build. I don't want to participate in lame builds.
