Not at all...
When song was first introduced guilds quickly adjusted and it made altar capping a new ball game. The main interrupter would stay on the teams ghost which posed the biggest threat and the secondary interrupter, have it be a shock warrior or whatever would spot and interrupt song. I know with my guild while this was happening our hexer was shutting down the seeking arrows ranger or galing a pd.
With the mechanics in place now it requires less skill and with a little luck even though your team sucks ass you may still win. I guess thats what Anet was aiming for.
P.S - For Nadia who keeps saying if you don't like it then leave. I left awhile back, so did my guildies and we are enjoying a different game. I paid just as much for this game (perhaps more since I was foolish enough to buy a collectors Nightfall) as others and I have the right to complain about Anet's rash decisions which drove us to leave. If you don't like that answer then leave the forums (you don't know what the hell you are talking about anyways).

i donno y people complain about kill count just cuz there r so many spike teams out there. just play smart and avoid gank. ㅡ,.ㅡ thats all it takes and especially if u r running balanced, you have to be very patient and sort through the strats. But i find thats wat makes the game sorta, interesting.

ok seriously, i dont get why people keep complaining about stuff.
it's overrated.
heres a quarter call someone who cares.
Anet still has yet to balance the game correctly, sure 8v8 was a major step, however they still need to fix the corrections they made when they did 6v6.
ie - Incoming nerf.
Utterly rediculous waste of a skill now. same with aria of zeal and energizing finale. both were made to screw over monks even more than they already have.
On top of that. they nerf Zealous Benediction. - HOW does that make sense. the one thing that would help vs spike teams, they nerf. - COME ON. read what skills people actually use, PLAY THE GAME versus spike teams, AND THEN make nerfs based on that information. THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY.

You misunderstand me, SoC would have made it easier for IWAY tor cap an altar, after the eoe nerf, because it would make it possible to cap without brining utility skills.
While a balanced build already had thing like guardian and spell breaker.

BS passive defensive skills that require you to press 1 and you can use them to their full potential are extremely bad for the game, especially skills like incoming. I would rather the skill be ether renewalized then kept in pre-nerf form.

I'm probably the worst monk in guild wars, but WTF? ZB is "the one thing that would help vs a spike"? I can see why it would be ok on a ZB infuser with a vamp weapon, but I still think it is worthless in a controlled environment where you come up against organized teams (read: not RA).
I personally think you are high atm, but hey, that's just me.

How about interrupts, prot, infuse? ZB didn't do anything against spikes.
