We run a lod-infuser and an RC monk backline.
Our RC takes mending touch as self condition removal, it works quite well most of the time. Last night we met a guild running a full gank squad with BHA ranger and our defense team just collapsed. Is it better to take dismiss as self condition removal or do you expect to have some other person with draw or some removal in the defensive spilt ?

Mending touch can be nice, but someone other than your RC guy still needs condition removal, for one in case RC is disabled or dead, for two because heavy condition stacks can outpace 6-second mending touch, especially if you're getting KD'd. I like draw if you can find a spot for it.

No self-condition (except possibly Purge Conditions) is going to get a Daze off of a solo monk. To cope with Daze you want a midline draw, or at the very least some off-monk Mending Touches. If they're spamming daze, you can have your ranger play near the backline and MT it off your monks.

Yeah, you need more condition removal in your midline. After you got it in there, its pretty much easy going if you communicate the fact you are dazed with the guy with Draw Condi or MT etc.

For RC, use mending touch for self removal. You need atleast dismiss on the LoD fuse monk. Sometimes you can get the daze off with MT, but don't trust on it. Midline draw or MT is good.

You answer the wrong question.
Sure we have dismiss on our lod monk. Sure we have draw on one of the casters. I'm taking about a split situation.
You have only 4 ppl. The other monk is on the flag stand with the draw caster and the RC goes to gh to protect Vs a 4 ppl gank team. Now if this team inflict daze on the RC, defense dies.

I'm assuming u have a split char with mending touch just send him back with the rc or give the rc ur flaggers support of if the rc cnt hold wipe their gank say quickly send back ur frontliners as by the time they realise there is no pressure at flag stand and send another monk to help with the gank they should be pushed out/dead.

I answered the simple question. Self condremoval on RC should be mending touch. Against 4/4 split, I wonder what you send to defend your base? Because if you are running monk flagger or flagger with secondary Mo, it should definetly have mending touch. If you are running E/Rt flag, it has weapon of warding and some kind of heal(s) so the RC can remove the daze from himself with MT.

Even if no other mending touch is available, send the midliner with draw back with the RC...very simple.

Splitting your 2 monks is always a pretty risky strategy imo. Better to have something like a warrior with heal sig and MT and an ele with warding/wielders boon or MT/breeze or a ranger defending your base. Damage and snares ftw in skirmish imo. Solo monks are very vulnerable, and by splitting a 2 monk team you create two very weak spots, one at the stand, and one in your base, that a good split team will look to exploit and will in fact probably be built to exploit.

but yeah, get someone to mending touch you. if not, get behind something and press dismiss at the same time as your infuser. really though, our team just runs a draw on the infuser. warrior with MT on the defense/offence, depending where the BHA is to help the monk out with daze.

I always use -40% dazed duration because it rules. If not snared you can kite and wait for it to disappear, while counting down the recharge so you know when to expect it again. But generally speaking I always use mending touch on RC, mainly because of Crippling slash and BHA, makes for a nice self heal when you use a 75% block stance.

It's maybe 36%, I don't know for sure, the difference is little to nothing. However it makes the same difference with crippled duration, when you need it, it is there, sometimes you survive because of it. By the way, BHA duration is more like 15 x 1,33 (silencing mod) = 20 seconds, so I don't see what is wrong with reducing it to 12 or 13 seconds to be able to cast again.

If you're dazed without help for like more than a few seconds, you're dead. Reduction runes and mods are futile.

Get a wammo and draw condition.

Warriors are "traditionally" there to protect casters anyway, especially our "paladin"

Dodge BHA, imo.

Snared? Pre-cast Mending Touch. Whenever the Ranger fires BHA, count a second or too and cast MT just before daze hits.

Or is that too pro?
