Has anyone checked in nightmare weapon shows up as vampiric on the damage monitor?

Or did another ranger or paragon or w/e with a vampiric weapon also happen to hit you right before?

Perhaps Kindle Arrow + Winter? (Think Kindle Arrow changes the type of damage into fire)

i'm fairly sure it shows as "Nightmare Weapon" damage like every other spell, but i can't really test it because my comp doesn't show it 99% off the time, so meh.

Maybe he had a Necro teammate using [skill]Order of the Vampire[/skill]?

EDIT: Never mind, it couldn't be since it only triggers if you deal physical damage.

The 5 possible suggestions are:
Greater Conflagration, Winter and a vampiric weapon
Kindle Arrows, Winter and a vampiric weapon
Nightmare Weapon and a cold weapon
2 or more enemies
you imagined it

If you want to know the answer (I don't), you could just test those, instead of making impossible suggestions and semantic quibbling. If you did that, then you would know the answer, and if you keep discussing it, you'll never know. So what is the point of this thread?

Well, the only answer is you take Conjure and life stealing from different sources, not from only that Ranger.
Also, if someone actually runs Winter/ Conflagration/Greater Conf in TA, it makes me cry.

Well, whatever it was, the guy was a major idiot because the only way to get a cold damage+vamp is with two different spirits, when he could've just used Conflagration or Kindle Arrows + Conjure Flame and gain a slot.

Thats actually a pretty good idea, doesnt it still stay as physical damage though?

Conflagration and Winter dont work with conjures do they?

By the way, this was in TA so he did have 3 other people with him.
But i was too baffled by the ranger to notice what the other 3 were.

There was a bow in the game a while back that could support 2 bow strings, one of those non-max collector RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOups along with the dual 20% Axe.

I think its more likely that someone else hit you for vampiric damage, if the ranger wanted to use both a conjure and vamp he would use kindle/conjure flame instead of taking a bar full of spirits.

mabe the guy just switched bows by mistake lol what was the life stealing counter at was it 1,2,3... because mabe someone else was attking u with lifestealing and he did his spike

It was kinda wierd really..
I didnt see how much health was stolen, but it counted up for each dual shot he did on me.
However, i'll have a look into all of these, and i'll post back the results i got from them.

another possiblity is she/he had a pet with [skill=text]Order of the vampire[/skill] on.
a rt using vengful weapon?

when i used to use a poison arrow ranger in RA back when RA was outside LA
i used to tap F1-F2 while having conjure flame on one bow with vamp the other with fire. and poisoning every1.
this was a "pro" move.
The bows i used were as such
[wiki]Tarnok's Longbow[/wiki]
[wiki]Drago's Vampiric Flatbow[/wiki]
not the bows but the stats.

All skills that cause life stealing come up as the skill icon on there side. Its impossible to do this without* running greater conf + winter.
