The solo warrior split was also heavily influenced by the introduction of "You're All Alone!" which had amazing utility both on a split and at stand. This promoted the use of solo warriors as split chars, since the standard YAA W/A bar had all the things necessary pretty much to solo split, incl snare, speed boost, condi removal, and self heal.
With the nerf in that, less warriors carry self-sustainability. That, however, in no way diminishes their raw offensive power and when combined with a more defensive char such as an SoR ele, it makes for a pretty strong split.
