A Beast Mastery build I just saw.... on an E/R... with all Ranger skills.

It was so horrid, it's the first time I've ever announced in Local chat to indicate that it was horrid after killing him, I said, "wow, I'm sorry, but that build is absolutely horrid."

I attacked him with my Dervish, and with no Blinding or anything to stop him from attacking or doing damage he did a whopping 12 dmg to me by the time I killed him - I just ignored him the rest of the game cause he was just that... completely ignorable.

I also can't for the life of me figure out why the hell he'd do an E/R for it without the use of any Elementalist skills.

Let's see, from my screenshots collection...

- Warrior with air attunement, I don't know what else was on his bar, but if he needed air attunement to cast it, it couldn't possibly be good.
- Warrior that tried to kill me with flare spam, which isn't quite as bad as...
- Warrior that tried to kill me with Word of Censure spam.
- Ranger with Meteor Shower, which isn't quite as bad as...
- Ranger with Rodgort's Invocation.
- Necro with glad's defense.
- Degen ranger packing conjure phantasm.
- A real, authentic hamstorm warrior. Yes, really.
- Warrior with Protective Spirit.
- Elementalist beastmaster. With a bow.
- Ranger minion masters. What's worse is that I've seen several of those in AB.
- Monks that bring flare. What's worse is that I've seen several of those in AB.

And of course, the winner....


Worst team build? The headbutt spike that got posted in the HA forums a while ago was pretty bad.

Anything with Mending. Did see a mo/me in RA use ether feast and *gasp* rebirth the other day. Well, make that tried to use ether feast and rebirth. E-surge/Starburst/Searing Flames warriors, MM monk, and the list can go on and on....

Random Arenas excells in the most ridiculus builds ever made, you wont see such gems in gvg. Nothing beats Warrior/Mesmer casting backfire and empathy. The guy had 12 in domination as well. I lol'd

team builds? i vote for "You Got Headbutted", posted some time ago in HA section. Sadly, its brilliant creator deleted it

I'd disagree. Check the "Why kurzick loses" thread in the AB forums, you see that kind of crap on a regular basis. Most of my screens of mind-blowingly awful builds are from AB.

I mean, seriously....

(cast on a monk!)

How do you beat that?

the whole Geomancer thing in RA is rather stupid, only a total noob would fall for sandstorm, and once they learn to dodge that, these Geomance have very little offence.

And lets not forget 55 monks in PvP (go back to farming you loser 55s)

- W/N with flesh golem, a very small and cute one, he didn't even had death magic .. but I mean it, small golem is cute!
- 55 monk forgeting to cover prot spirit
- W/E glyph nuker
- R/E with conjure lightning, a wand and rampage as one. That actually did some dmg lol.
- Me/w with frenzied defense, and healing signet. One vapor blade consumed him.
- Necro toucher: 1 vamp bite, 1 vamp touch, 1 vamp bite ... sits.
- Infinite possible outcomes of a paladin.

And you can use Mantra of Inscriptions with the signets and save your energy because you dont have to use blinding surge - its a good build.

The worst thing i had to play with for a long time was a smite Monk in RA with Flare and Firestorm - and the problem was the first decent team we encounter was after the 9th win ... - i tried to eat my keyboard!

The Mo/E with ether prodigy, heal party and Blinding Flash has to take a high spot.
Also, the E/W with decapitate is quite genius. Losing 60 energy is nothing compared to a critical hit AND bonus dmg.

Ah the super elite Build ive seen:

W/Mo

stats: unknown but presumablly 12 Tactics and 12 Smite

Skills: Heal Sig, Bane Sig - No others

Equip: A non max wand and a Strength Req. Shield

Atempting : Dragonslair Bonus

heh and beleive it or not we killed that over grown lizard, although that could be do due to the skills of the rest of the group. Na its was def his l33t build that did it.

Various wammos using prot spirit, healing touch or even reversal of fortune
W/E spamming flare (well, four times and then runs)
W/E using meteor shower

PvE
Assassin/Monk playing daggers with no attack skills, 7 heals and a rez.
