You can roll a ranger bar with a d4, if you play D&D.

1 is BA, 2 is cripshot, 3 is BHA, 4 is Escape (ignore this roll if you're not a pussy).

actually put "4 is glass arrows" and "if 4 got rolled flip a coin: heads= swap apply poison with hunter's shot, tails=swap apply poison with screaming shot"

but anyway, it's so sad that the current GvG meta revolves around so few professions and builds. the options are very limited, the ranger is the perfect example. the most versatile class in gw is limited to 1 build with a choice of 3 different elites

is active trapping so bad that it isnt used at all in all the tight fights GvG offers? is thumper too good for HA but too bad for GvG balanced teams? is touch ranger just so bad? YES but anyway another ranger build is whatever other ranger builds we like just suck so badly that they dont see light in GvG?

with other classes its not much different. only warriors are rather versatile and that is because they have 3 viable weapon choices, and even with that not too many builds. crip slash/dragon slash build for swords. evis+agonizing or shockaxe for axe and devastating or backbreaker for hammer...

Because Touch Rangers are a problem in his Alliance Battle metagame, and mentioning them made him feel as if he was contributing to the discussion.

So true , but this was only brought upon paragons because of the over nerfage of the class.

Not to mention that paragons have a free secondary and elite slot with which to use said unlimited energy.

Add Gash, Bullstrike, Res sig.

Necro:

6= Fire (coin for elite Sf or Mind Blast...add skills)
