Rebuilding GvG
Hi, my guild is rebuilding there GvG team. We stopped a few months ago and our rank fell to shit. Lately we have been in ha working on getting all guildies r3-r6. However I was placed in charge of rebuilding our core GvG team that we lost (due to ppl leaving game guild and other reasons that are not relevant). I was just curious if anything had changed since we left GvG or if it was same basic stuff. Any tips on how to start off on the right foot...again . Thanks for help and comments good bad or in between.

Observer mode. Watch top guilds and see how they run their builds and when to use what kind of tactics. It's more than copying the "best build".

Stay out of observer mode unless you have a sleeping problem and need something that makes you sleep. And except for some more defensive skills, not much has changed. Only VoD.

all the guilds are bad, so there's not much point watching obs.
Although trying to imitate chiizu=instant win.

qft.
And you should pay attention to what your guildies do well, first off. If you have a good caller and solid monks, balanced builds are probably your bag. If you don't have any good midliners, consider condition pressure or NR/tranq. A highly active and communicative team could runs splits well. Etc.
The usual mistakes: don't run a ranger unless you have a good one. Don't play conservative warrior templates. Don't try to prepare for everything. Don't think that more defense = win. Don't bring an assassin frontline. Hm..what else?
