vZ came out of nowhere because no one expects a pug guild to win, even if the pug is full of great players.

I think rawr make the same mistake like vD in August against NoT. They didnt change build but they know that vZ will play condition pressure and they didnt take Crippling Shot ranger to interupt Traps/Humility. Distrupting Dagger on Melandru was insufficient. vZ crused rawr at the begining becaulse they got LoD at Humility and they need to run away.
rawr won this battle only by dc, but i need to say that rawr play very nice in rest battles.

vZ have no ground to complain about how things went down, had lag not helped them they would not even have made the final game.

Had lag not helped you u wouldnt have won that final game as well. So stop acting like rawr is a good guild. I mean all you do is run the same hyperdefenseball build over and over again since 1959 and yet u epicly fail at running it.
If any guild should have won this AT it should have been DF, in my eyes they are truely the #1 american guild atm not retard rising.
So ill end this with a f u c k you mr.conjurefrost and have a nice day.
P.S. And last month's AT was an even bigger joke so dont come here and make stupid comments about how u won that AT vs reno since they ran 1 build the entire AT.

I don't understand the title of this thread, Biggest GW Joke Ever would have been better. A guild that can only run one build winning a tournament with other guilds only running one build and all of them refusing to adapt to anyone. Only guild that deserved to win was DF because of how they ran their build. Although some credit to vZ for actually running something different then the rest. Made their matches interesting to watch at least. The error 21 is interesting tho, I wonder what caused that. It can't be someone else logging in on the account, that gives an error 35.

^ I should hope so to.
Neither DF deserve to lose nor rawr to win with the player losses, its real bull to have a player d/c when into the opponents base and when (I must say obviously and totally) winning.
Do a replay of vZ vs DF then play rawr, winner = deserves the gold cape and imo that has to be DF.
Must say I was laughing at 2 mins to see rawr get ripped apart (not a fan of block-wars meta game here ), but when I saw the player left game, I felt sorry for vZ, they did very well , and the epic trash talking... kinda sad imo.

French tactic eh they didnt want me to cap ^^ , cuz they wanted to try to wipe them again and then cap and if i capped i would have needed to run again and then we basicly would have no pressure anymore at all. Not saying that it would have mattered since the match was technicly over when our tainted errored anyhow.
But then again cant expect a BG member to know whats going on in gvg's anyhow

We was perhaps lucky against DF at the end, but i think we deserve the monthly we have made, we have win 7/0 in first phase, have win in less than 8 mins the 1/8 final, in less than 5 mins the 1/4 final, we have rape 3 times DF team before the vod, and was so next to win in final quickly :d.
so ok i'm real sorry about the DF warrior drop at the vod, they perhaps deserves more than us that final place, but one thing is sure we was not ridiculous .

Shit happens in GvG. The funny thing is that the actual finals match should be that DF vs vZ game, since those are clearly the two best teams out there in this tourney (DF outplayed vZ, and vZ outplayed rawr).
If my internet connection didn't take me out of the game for a match, we probably could've made silver, and I'm pretty sure many guilds have that happen to them before, where a critical error takes away huge advances. Just for that to happen to the two best teams out there right now sucks.

Match DF vs vZ.
Personally I think this game should have been in vrooms hands. DF didnt outplay them at VOD vZ made some mistakes, like monk positioning and allowing their flagger to get spiked. Though i do like DF for their aggresive play especially in pushing for morale boosts and I think they are a much superior guild to Rawr.
Vroom had a slight build advantage, but it was partially countered by extinguish, and i saw quite a few interrupts on sig of humilty.
If their warrior hadnt errored, and i didnt see the message on obs mode-just a dead warrior They might have won the gank race at the end.
However I dont think either guild deserves any flaming to be honest and I was impressed with both of their perfomances.
Finals match well what can I say. I dont think they deserved to win.
But then again no matter what anybody says Rawr are not a bad guild. Tho Chop Chop needs to stop running a sup axe so he wouldnt get dped to 60% so often.

Yeah, it would've been nice to see DF take it. I thought that they deserved it (I like you rawr but I believe they deserve it more )
vZ should be more consistent in its appreciation of Err's if they're going to bash rawr for taking advantage of the mesmer's error. DF suffered the same and showed more class I should say.
I think Chop's post eloquently demonstrates this ^^
