Your tweaking and altering of a skill in order to change the metagame to something that YOU like has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the community. Everyone else adapted, i did, the top 100 guilds did, and the halls guilds did to. Don't just fill this forum with bullshit suggestions unless you have the power to change them; at this point you're just wasting your time. It's survival of the fittest, not survival of those who complain too much. Play the game you paid for; don't expect it to revolve around your idea of fun.

Top 100 guilds running something does not indicate that they like it, it indicates that it wins games. Nothing more. A lot of these people running these builds want them nerfed so they can run something more interesting instead.

Reading comprehension is hard huh? You saw that I posted, so you took that to mean that it's your turn to talk and keep spewing nonsense (that has nothing to do with an actual reply to the post content). Just go back to trolling some other forum where they may not know that you're a complete scrub.

I think the penalty was needed in somewhat way, but Anet made a mistake by making the penalty a condition. The condition gets reapllied every time AG is.
Think about it: Fevered Dreams, Fragility, Plague Sending, etc.

The Cracked Armor change works out pretty well in practice. Paragons can't just sit in the frontline and be immune to spikes anymore.

It's not the change I would have made, but it works.

Its a clumsy nerf, I am not in favor of something like this. I would much more be in favor of a -20 Armor permanent than reapply a condition. Izzy is just being lazy

i think this is actually better, instead of just killing the skill, you just have to make it usable (PvE, a big aspect of it). it now requires direct counters, and witht he nerf to SoD and RC coming back, it won't matter that much anyways.

i actually like how this forced PvErs to take funny stuff like puryfing finale (sp ).

but yes, it works, it's an alright solution to it imo. paras are still hilarious to spike, but at least it's not that dumb anymore.

i really shouldnt have made this thread. all i have to say is:
it is possibly the stupidest thing i ever said by saying it didnt need a nerf.
so:
make it a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing unremovable -20 armor, plz??? i'd rather have that than have dunkoro waste his energy.

(edit)for pvp:it seems fine. still ahve 76(w/o centurions) armor at a range.

umm i thought they added cracked armor for 20 seconds after activating [skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill] but they didnt update the skill thingy on here

The cracked armor is a lot more interesting than -20 AL in practice, it's a pretty good nerf really; only problem is how it plays havoc on AI Monks, that needs to be addressed somehow.

AI monks would need some sort of prioritization system. Right now their priority is to immediately bitchslap arrows that point down with any recharged skill capable of doing so.
