Let's just say it - 3 players + 5 heroes > 8 players. Look at HA, one out of three teams is more than 3 heroes... It's going to be like AB soon, instead of PvP - Player vs Player - there will be PaFBvsOPaB - Players and Few Bots vs Other Players and Bots. Ftw?

It isn't even possible to have 3 heros in HA anymore. I don't think you could ever have 5 heros, I'm pretty sure the cap was 4.

I'm sure that at least 50% of the time heros are better than real players, both naturally and in the aspect of competence. There's alot of players out there that just don't give a flyin' f(eather) about winning or farming fame/glad points and instead whine about how they suffer loss... and do to what...? They have only themselves to blame!

Are you guys still crying over the same problems? Get the point already; Anet doesn't give a ratt's about you; no heroes won't be removed as they are perfectly consistent with the PvE player.

Not that Anet is doing a bad job or that GW has become a shitty game; Anet just wants to focus upon PvE, and I don't blame them. The PvE player doesn't care about minor imbalances or broken mechanics; they see it as a part of the game, there to exploit. So Anet has to read through less QQ, and can just do what they want, everyone will buy their game anyway.

Its funny that you say that PvE do less QQ because they don't care about imbalances. Which reminds me of soul reaping nerf, I mean how badly did the PvE community exaggerate make that nerf? You can run nearly anything in PvE, from mending w/mos with power attack to fire storm fire ele's finishing off chapters with not much of a problem.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and refute the "anet doesn't care" statement, because we do. Problems in PvP are often also relevant in PvE. I have said it before and I will say it again, if a skill is over-powered in PvP, it's most likely over-powered in PvE too, the only difference is monsters don't make forum threads about it.

Other concerns may only be relevant to one side or the other, but both get seen by us, and passed on to the designers. In some cases, the designers agree that there are issues and they make changes. In other cases, they don't feel the same way, but continue to monitor the discussions. And a lot of the time, they need to do more research and get more feedback before they can determine what, if anything, needs to be done. Which is why we appreciate threads that discuss players concerns--as long as they remain productive--and why it's pointless and counter-productive for other players to jump in saying "stop talking, they don't care."

We do care, so please, continue providing your productive feedback.

Well actually, some of the Crystall Desert Missions had some hint of PvP training, relic runs (Elona reach) Alter holding (Dunes of Despair) and Preists etc (Thristy River)

If Anet really does care, then there is serious problem with the way all of this is handled. Anet needs to be much more aggressive at balancing the game, even if that means balancing 3-4 skills every week until something good comes out of it. There is plenty of good feedback all over the place right now and there is no reason for a balance update to take so long to come and deliver so little other thana pure lack of knowledge and/or ressource.

I mean how hard would it be to just sit down with Ensign and some other high-end GvGer and just let them balance a couple of skills and then turn this into a Test weekeed or something? Right now what we are seeing is a handful of random changes with a little note at the top to try to make us believe that further changes are coming.

If you can't balance you're own game, then let us do it for you. If it ends up failing anyway, then we would be the only ones to blame.

I can't really blame ANet here: it's hard to create two aspects of the game that both player types will like, because the hardcore PvPers will never "step down" to play PvE and the carebear PvErs will never touch PvP ever.

You can do that if you make an half-hassed, gear dependant, dumbled down PvP that has absolutely little competitivity but many like, see WoW. Even if ANet succeeded in blending PvE and PvP, the latter would still be as deep and "sublime" and still terribly difficult to master.
