I understand the show has to be entertaining.
I understand it's hard to fill each week a show full of interesting talk...
But... all this Cybergirl talk.... the erection of Krugen (?).... Grandpa's 'problem'...
A bit too much imho... shame.
EDIT wrote this while listening... later the caller came in with basicly the same remark.

I quite like the idea presented by Josh - have the show focus more on a featured match, and provide match commentary (coincident with footage from Ob Mode?) from Wheat, participants, etc. There would presumably be still air time that could be devoted to current events/news/issues, etc.
I find (and I think I'm not alone) that the commentated matches from Versus, for example, are excellent "entertainment" while simultaneously providing useful insight and strategies for those striving to improve their GvG game. I think WoC would do well to emulate some of what makes those feeds successful, while putting their own "stamp" or identity to the commentary. The advantage WoC would have is the spontaneity of live discussion, and the spirited play-by-play of Wheat (not that Wally and Ms. Serious aren't very fine commentators and MC's in their own right).
I appreciate the difficulty in walking the fine line between informative/serious and entertaining. I do think that commentated matches with a round table post-mortem discussion afterwards could be handled seriously, and yet not preclude a sense of humour. Wheat, and 3 or 4 bright and witty individuals having a conversation about a high-end GvG need not be boring or stodgy.
You don't have to do a stand-up routine to be entertaining, in my opinion.
I haven't missed too many WoC's to date, but the (recent?) trend towards an "open-mike" call in show that features inane bathroom humour makes my tuning-in much less urgent. However, I wouldn't miss an episode if the suggestion posited by Josh was implemented in some manner.
Anyhoo, my 2 cents. If you read this Wheat…grats on the show.

It would be cool if they opened up the show with a GvG match with Wheat doing commentary and then after teh match they discuss the tactics/builds used in the match then go on to normal WoC.

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available."
I keep getting this whenever I try and tune in on WoC. Its getting annoying because I would really like to hear it live. Does anyone perhaps know why this keeps happening and how I can solve it?

I think the WMP version may have been taken down, possibly due to Winamp being so much better.
Download Winamp.

Maybe because you need to tune in at the right time?? Altho it says 7pm, it might not be the same timezone for you. Look up the timezone, convert it, and then try again. It works fine for WMP.

A humorous listen this week.
Memorable moments at the 65 minute mark (pure legend), 78 minute mark (Warrior elites rant) and JR @ 84 minutes
Just in case anyone is wondering what the -50dkp references are -- this page should explain all =p

Somebody has actually gone to the trouble of archiving more examples of his *brilliant* leadership here (worth a listen IMO)

Hardcore PvE'ing right there -- quite possibly the bastard child of Boyd + R. Lee Ermey.

If I can get VLC to record when it comes down to crunch time on Wednesday, I'll record it. Currently I'm having trouble getting the output to be read by anything other than VLC or firefox, and the total time doesn't show either.
