played in HA two days
Hope this tread will not be treated as whining and be closed.
I played in HA in last 2~3 days, went into HoH twice. As expected, me, a r0 player, really had a hard time finding groups. I've gone with different groups. Heroway doesn't sound good. Randomway is so random, sometimes ppl just don't wait for tuning up. And a few ele bomber. What I want is to find a "real" group. I watch others play, how to snare, how to spike, how to run....etc...
As a conclusion, i really want to learn playing HA. My guild is a PvE guild but I love it. I want to know what group in the big waiting hall can help me most. Ranked groups are usually hard to get in. Or should I keep on doing randomway or heroway? May be that helps just a little bit but I can still learn? Or any other suggestion or help?
I know this is not a easy road to walk but I will keep trying. Hope one day I can say"R3 ele lfg"

sry for my non-perfect english.

Get friends that want to pvp.
Randomway pugs won't help you.
The road to r3 is much longer without helpful friends.

Yes I'm trying to find friends that love PVP. Actually I see ppl in randomway that are similar to me. I think I should add them to friendlist too~

Run Flavour Of The Month builds if you want easy fame, and try to learn things like map details, stratagies and communication while your at it.
Snow Bunny is completely right about the friendslist. That thing is like gold

There are a few things to learn when you are trying to get into HA and in the stupid world of fancy emotes:
When in town:
1. Watch how people advertise. Look at party search screen. By looking at the advertisement, many can say if you have any knowledge about PvP or not. Be specific but, open while seeking group. Instead of telling "Sandstorm Warder LFG" say something like "Ele LFG. Can roll different builds as needed. PM Me."
2. Never advertise with your favorite PvE builds like "Earth Ele with Sliver Armor LFG."
3. Keep your eyes open. Watch for people who are not actually trash talking on local chat. Reach out to those folks. Out of ten, one may be helpful in explaining a thing or two.
4. NEVER NEVER NEVER start bullshiting on Local Chat. Its useless and its very very very very very very annoying.
When in game:
1. Make sure you watch the battlefield. It is very crucial.
2. Make the compass big (BIIIIIIIIG) so that you can clearly see those red and blue dots.
3. Move around while you are playing. Don't stand at one place and keep casting or attacking. If you have a mesmer trained on you, fool him or her by changing position. There are many many different tactics. But, most importantly, don't stand at one spot always. Move!
After Game:
1. If game is on GW TV, Press B(Default) and watch it. See how you were moving around in the battlefield.
2. Ponder on what went wrong or right. Then ask why?
3. Seek Suggestions from others.
Most importantly be humble. If you find other guy rude, do you want to be the other guy yourself? No. So, seek the best and have fun. Good Luck!

Quit your Pve guild, and somehow join a r3+ pvp guild.

Your first and probably most important information I can give you is dont ever feel that you can't ask a more expierenced player a question. You see a lot of people post on various sites that have more expierence than you do. Don't hesitate to pm them on the forum and ask a question or if you see them in game ask as well.
If the person you pm is a jackass, then onto the next person you would like info from. Building a social network in this game will get you much farther than a r3 emote will.
