The ones with 60 armor did do a little over 60. But since you are such an amazing monk I assume u switched to ur shield as they spiked like the others did, therefore making the dmg less than 60.

I don't claim to be a good monk. I claim you are a bad monk. I don't really apreciate it when I play with rank3's or something, your team wins and then you flame me. It's like, hi, I'm one person. Get over it lol. =P.

For the warrior thing: you used no hex removal on me. I was alright with pre veiling myself, but when the team is using hexes, shame, diversion etc and they are BUILT to counter monks, then it helps for you to use spotless (which you had). I would of been happy for you to run veil too, but it was quite ironic that you removed an uncovered hex with spotless from one player, but didn't like to remove the stack of hexes on me. I did not spirit-bond that because I knew it'd be diverted.

I do think that I had a fluke match and played well vs that ranger spike, yeah.I think I can improve a lot in general, I've always thought that though.

In no way did I want this thread to make it seem like I am saying I am a good monk. I am not saying that... If anything, I was hoping for lorekeeper to post on his tactics to beating r-spike. =).

It seems to be you changing your attack, as you have completely avoided the post above and are now hanging onto a one year old argument. I do know that, you did not have all four weapon sets. Your excuse was that you were just back to the game after a break.

I can not remember if you were prot or heal but I DO remember kicking you for using the wrong weapons. I would usually NEVER -EVER- do that, unless it was important. Maybe I was running something gimmicky and it had a long cast. I simply can not remember but there would of been logic in why I kicked. It wouldn't of just been your annoying voice.

@ protting rangerspike, yea u can, it helps lots (tho it depends on which one, I saw a fast cast order of vampire spike the other day, was pretty vicious)

@ elektra, dont expect when forming a pug or flist group, that monks will cover each other like teams you have been in teh past are. I specifically run teh same monks all the time if I can because they have been through it all together, and know how to watch out for each other, you almost never see that in pugs, Ive only seen a few teams work that well together, and most of my time is spent on observer too

(it is especially worse in your case when you play with someone you dont always play with, because you do not use your mic)

I understand (I was playing sin at the time). Seriously though, it was something important. I think he might of been infusing (and health is important for that). I don't fully remember, it's a while ago now. Was February the 15th to be exact. I remember the date because it was near my friends birthday, and I got uber money from it (was fame farming for someone in the group).

Not going to lie, I found it amusing abusing Bowser. I join a group and people cause drama, I retaliate, and people get only half the story - then people form opinions. To a certain extent, I have been guilty of that (comments made about GANK for example). I think a few do it, meet someone they dislike and try to get others to feel the same way. If they could be argued logically on the forum, they could be solved.

Now the argument for me has been solved. Bowser hates me because of something that happened nearly a year ago.

I also thought that it could benefit people too though. There's quite a few old players who come back, see an r-spike and think it isn't prot spiritable (or spirit bondable).

The current r-spike hits over 60 easily on a 60 armour with the weapons, prep and favourable up even if they have there shield and fort set on.
So yes you do need prot, and it helps alot. Some spikes cannot be infused, so you need to pre prot the soft guys and dped guys.

Only time when prot doesnt help if they are running orders.
In maps where you have better vision its also an good idea, to click on the caller and watch his animations and when he spikes, so you got an idea which person it will be on.
