Degen Pressure
http://gwshack.us/fccd7
This is meant to be a Hex Build played on Burning Isle. The Necro + Mesmer hex the Melee and use Humility on the monks to shut down their elites.
The Smiter is meant to hex the Warriors/Melee with Defender's Zeal, and then move on to offensive targets with the Scourge Hexes. If energy permits, they can spam Heal Party. Also, they work in an Aegis Chain with the monks.
The Warriors try to pressure + spike down targets together. What do you guys think?

It needs more caster shut down. The build is built to stop heavy melee. If they have a b-surge and/or a mesmer, you will do little to no damage and they will shut your midline down while you can't shut theirs down.

The smite monk bar looks cute, but I don't think glyph is necessary with Defender's Zeal (assuming you use it effectively). I would also like to see a spammable skill placed on the smite monk's bar. The necro and mesmer bars are bad and need to be redone because you need the warriors to actually be able to hit you to get anything out of Defender's Zeal. To be optimal you want their warriors to be able to hit you, but either take damage or do less damage when they do hit you (for example, Empathy and weakness).
I would like to see if you can come up with a decent build with a Defender's Zeal monk, so please keep trying.

That is true. Hopefully the new mesmer can help a little.

Good point! I changed up the Mesmer and Necro to use hexes that reduce damage instead of prevent it entirely and I took out GoLe for Parasitic Bond. I really wanted to give him a cover anyways.

I don't think Scourge fits into this build very well. Scourge was most effective with heavy hex degen pressure. That is, you'd Scourge Healing a few degenning players while casting both on a warrior's target. Watch their LoD blow up, etc. You don't have a lot of pressure with this build, so Scourge won't have the same effect of overloading monks.

not much pressure at all
u only got 2 chars that do direct dps
you need some serious party wide pressure for scourge to earn its money
just quickly offhand i can suggest combining the necro and mesmer into one anti-melee hexer, that leaves another char
and then the smiter can be revamped to do a bit more pressure

Playing 7v7, it might be able to roll a mediocre team at the flagstand, if they fail to recognize key interrupts and shutdown. The scourge template is interesting, but disappointing in that all he can contribute is scourge and party heals. I think you should explore another elite on that character. Better yet, consider a Me/Mo.
However, only a stubborn or bad team would continue to attack through the melee hate you've got going there. It would be kinda easy for an enemy team to split their damage, control flags, and ultimately cause retreat after retreat. With no snares or caster hate, a team could probably survive 5v7 against you, camping wards and/or blinding on recharge, and just healing any hex damage. Even a well coordinated spike would be unreliable against competent monks; they would just be watching your warriors anyway. They could perhaps even run flags while splitting.
Well - the rit has poor skirmish power, wouldn't survive long against even a typical shock-axe/crip shot split (and I'm speaking from many 1st hand experiences there). You'd be forced to split off a warrior and maybe a hexer, and then fall behind in ground and flags. Sucks, but you should probably get an water e/mo WoH or SoR in that 8 slot. And then, well, I don't know where to fit your splinters and ancestors.
Yeah, that's the main problem with hex teams - once identified, good teams won't stick around and let you spam hate on them.

Attributes for the Smite Monk:
12+1+1 Smite 10+1 Heal 8+1 Prot
You only need 9 in Prot. 9 Prot is equal to 9 seconds of Aegis. You wont get 10 seconds until 12 Prot.

perhaps make your smiter Mes/Mo as your standard dom mesmer just with Defender's Zeal and Scourge Healing.
your necro needs a complete rework.
get ur other mesmer back into illusion, now ur build lacks in long lasting hexes...
bring a draw on 1 of the mesmers to counter condition heavy teams on splits
