Sabotaging or just plain fun?
Let me clarify.
A few nights ago in an AB battle, there were a few players who tried to help out the opposition by causing a few problems on the side they were suppose to fight for. This included:
- Non-active capping/defense
- Stating movements of fellow players
- Carrying and dropping the item Lively was Naomei at low levels, which revives all dead allies in the area with little health and no energy
- Leaving the game before being reported
Should this be considered a fair and legal tactic for the Kurzicks or Luxons, or is this just plain wrong and ruins the game? What are your thoughts on the matter?
Intelligent discussion please.

This WILL be watched carefully! Don't try to push this.

A more effective way is when you get 2 hard res / BiP tards in your base who just sac over and over.
At the end of the day, yes it's annoying. But they're wasting their own time. It's not like they get much faction to make it worthwhile.

I don't believe this happens much. For one, the person doing it gets nothing out of it.. and I don't think anyone is enough of a fanboi for their side to bother. Secondly, there is little real payoff. What's the point? To get your side to Ancestral Lands/Kaanai faster? Its just pointless griefing.
Besides, the person doing it runs the risk of being /reported.. and if you leave the game early, you get dishonored. Sounds like a pretty stupid idea from any angle.

I'll admit that I've had a lot of fun using glyph of renewal + iron mist on enemies in mobs and watching 8 of my teammates try and kill one guy fruitlessly for the rest of the game.
Of course, my way of griefing can be avoided by not being bad and just basically puts my team a player down. What they're doing can't be avoided.

Last I knew, griefing is against the ToS and is grounds for getting banned.
That said....

it just seems pointless to me...
people wasting their time to help their faction lose. they're not getting anything from it...
might as well just get a team and afk, at least they're not wasting time that way...
they'll be reported either way if the other 8 ppl actually give a damn...
