Oh really? :P
Yeah, he got it. Shame all the good players left with 6v6, there'd be a few rank 14's by now...

So is leeloof the closest to rank 15 now? I thought there was a necro that had rank 14 months ago.

I just had a great idea....
How about a CUSTOM emote for the players that hit rank 15. Why make it something standard?
Since there will probably be less than a dozen players that actually hit rank 15 before the "days" of the game are up, why not allow that player to actually suggest his own emote? Such as a ghostly hero, balthazar, glint, a bunny.... a deer that runs in circles... whatever they want?
I realize that it could take extra time to do this, but wouldn't that be a fantastic reward? These players will have to spend thousands of hours within Guild Wars to obtain this rank, so why not give them what THEY want instead of having some kind of vote or deciding for them?
My guess is that there will be less than 10 total players that reach rank 15 before Guild Wars 2 matures and less players are in Guild Wars 1.

Yea thats a great use of manpower...
I'd rather they spend time fixing their broken game.

Manpower lol, ever programmed video games before? I have on a lower end, not as high end as guild wars or for millions of people online... but that type of coding wouldn't take more than 1-2 days. A player spends 8-10,000 hours PvPing and they can't spend 40 hours for one player? I'd disagree, it would be a great use of manpower and would show Anet cared about the individual player. You're looking at it from the wrong side.

There will be so few people with r15 that it'll be a custom emote.

40 hours times by their wage > than the £30 paid for the game.

It's seen as £30 not 10,000.
If I go sell my bike, I don't look at it like 'he's ridden it 98798987 hours so I'll give him suspension'.

No your looking at it from the wrong side. They are running a business not a charity. 2 days for every player on their wages is a lot more that the £90 spent on the game. Time played or not.

1-2 days fro ma business perspective is a while. And it does change alot when you go to more massive scale programming. You have to recompile everything, which is likely contained in multiple subfiles / header files.
The custom emote would have to be limited like guild capes are limited, or unrealistic.
And then theirs the fact that every player will want this when they hit r15, which will become easier as guild wars dies and less competition is willing to play.

I uploaded this on wiki. I saw this pop up in a conversation between Gaile and the Frog in a discussion about if rank 15 was a dragon or not. Not sure if this was recorded in the archive of the pictures, but that picture came from me (despite it being linked to wiki)
I still have the original. I just find it to be hilarious!

If it is already in the client, isn't there a way of snooping around with Texmod to get an idea of the r15 animation? Or is the r15 emote still not live?
