I'm not against 8v8 but i hate holding altar or kill count mechanics.

The rank 15 emote should be something in the lines of Ghostly Hero saying "Za Warudo" whilst time stopping the whole district, and then jumps off from above with a bulldozer screaming "WRRYYYYyyyy!".

I think it should be the ghostly hero also, but all he does is show up with his arms crossed (like the genie of the lamp) UNLESS there is another rank emote in the area in whch case he slaps it and it takes flight across the map.

I think that would be truly awesome.

Eh, leeloof, sama or brehon will have it within ~2 years. I think Guild Wars will still be running then. The servers will probably be like 1000x worse than they already are right now (and they're pretty bad right now), but it won't be that bad because 1000x less people will be playing....

At this point there is only one r6 from the [Sins] Alliance, if I am correct

That's your opinion. I found a great deal of enjoyment in holding the altar, either with a defensive build or otherwise. In fact just the possibility of having a good streak was an appeal of HA for me. I didn't even mind if there was a team on a great run, because it was something to aim for. "Let's be the team that ends their streak," etc. The sheer randomness of HA right now, and the near impossibility of a lengthy holding session have made HA a borefest for me. I don't even gain satisfaction from winning anymore, since it's so random in a lot of cases. Sometimes I don't feel as though I've earned a victory on an altar map at all, I just feel as though my team was lucky enough not to be the one that got ganked. Obviously skill still plays a part to some degree, but the luck factor is more prevalent than ever, which is very annoying for an experienced player. HA has more in common now with random arena and alliance battles than it does with GvG or even TA.

But anyway, that's way off topic. I'd certainly like to see an R15 regardless, though if someone has that much patience, hats off to them.

There is currently a savior of the kurzicks as the highest faction kurzick, and at least one champion of the luxons for the luxons. However, I (as well as most other pvpers) don't consider faction titles to be PvP titles, so of course they can be maxed. As to making r15 a maxable title account-wide, that's fine with me because it takes an insane amount of gameplay to accomplish, much more so than savior of the kurzicks or things that can possibly be maxed like lucky/unlucky.

I think the lastest GotW article on [cow] was a big step in the right direction. It was by far one of the better articles on GotW. The content was good and the player bios were funny (quite a few of them stated their mission as kill QQ which definately shows a highly competitive drive). I liked that it mentioned the old name as well, There Is No Cow Level, and explained its origin as a cheat code for Starcraft. Devine must have been looking out for me and was gracious enough to include that part of the story in the article.

I hope that the emote for rank 15 is a dragon. Some people in this thread have said that a dragon would be lame, but think about how every ancient culture (and even some current cultures -- China and Japan) placed great significance on the dragon.
