Soo I decided to take a break from pve as its been boring me lately and go in to HA. So lo' and behold i get a quick group and decide to play. So we get in go through Zaishen, get 8% Morale (whoopeee who cares whatever), and go to Underworld. Now here is where the fun starts. So we go and i get a PM saying "if you have a mesmer, quick use diversion on number 1." Now i figured it was some random pre-game non-sense and i laughed it off and replied to the pm and went out to fight. So we go through and managed to kill 6 of their guys, only to find the last 3 are A/Me Echo Shadow Form Sins....

Oh My God. I have never felt like i wanted so much of life back right now. We managed to kill 2 of the sins, purely because they screwed up/got bored/or who knows. Which leaves one. So i have nothign better to do. So I Flick on the TV, set my pet to attack and myself to autoattack and sit there.

AN HOUR LATER AND IM STILL IN THE GAME!!!!

And they still want us to drop ectos before they leave since its underworld...

So heres the lovely screen shot of 1 hour in the Underworld in HA. Currently the timer is still ticking at an hour and ten minutes and counting...Good frickin' game.

Edit - And this may sorta belong in the PvP/HA forum but it think its more general topic and more suited for everyone to see and weigh in on because this is so very very wrong.

Edit2 - I fear that this will disappear into the lost depths of the pvp forum quickly however.

HA nowadays is full filled with idoits and morons, if you ever encounter those kind people, just turn off local and let them to bored themselves.

If you don't bring counters for silliness then you'll have encounters like this. I never go anywhere without some form of enchantment removals and some kind of interupt anymore when I play PVP. You've got retards like that playing copied cookie cutter builds from online dedicated to just pissing people off and griefing the game. I don't know why they don't put timed battles in ALL the PVP arenas like they did RA and FA and AB and really just about all of them except a handful in HA, then you don't have to put up with that silliness anymore and those will just become wasted builds. You think that one was fun though you should have one pop up with 3 monks on one side and two on your side and trying to kill just one player to win the match. Fortunately there was a KD warrior on my team and together we actually pressured one monk enough to kill him. I used those chant removers I bring to knock down guardian and the ole hammer warrior put him on his butt and before he could get up we smoked him.

I run a ?/N class in pvp cause necros have some of the best chant removers in the game. I'm just pissed they screwed with chilblains as that one was the major one to take care of Shadowformers. It worked much better when it removed two enchantments instead of just one. Shadowformers can be smart and bring a covering chantment. Eles do it all the time.

Yea you know the whole counters agruement doesn't do jack sh!t for me frankly. Its HA, theres not much room for extra just-in-case skills. Regular Enchantment removal ok fine, but that doesnt work against shadowform. Secondly, i frankly never though about encountering shadow form. I mean i dont mind not losing because the team isnt good enough or we didnt bring an enchant removal, etc, etc. But its Shadowform.

However after an hour and 30 minutes or however long it was, it finally ended. Not sure how. All i know is somehow she got diseased and died. Whatever its done. Hour and half of my life wasted for one measley fame.

The most random awesome news however is we skipped straight to halls! And although we put up a good fight, we sadly lost in relic runs 19-14-14. Despite my begs and random pleads in local to let us win for pity. :-p

EDIT - There were originally like 3 shadow form sins, but no with just arcane echo, shadow form, deadly paradox, and some random teleports, they could maintain shadowform forever. >.<

Actually the names were in the screen shots, thats the violation i'm sure. You can just go into paint and scribble the names out. I have a screen shot of it at about 1 hour and 10 minutes, maybe you took one later, ill post it if not.

lol yeah i was on a shadowform team earlier as a warrior. didnt realize it was such a group until half way towards match b/c there were only 2 sins. i LOL when i came back and saw that 40 mins later the sin was still there. turned off the game and went back to rl. i did get some good lulz though, so it was worth it.

Yea I just went back and whited the names out that weren't on my team. Unless some one from my team comes back and says to, but noone disagreed when i asked.

This is Rhaella Taeron from that group, and I agree with the general sentiment the OP expressed. Worst HA experience period. This same individual has repeatedly been seen spamming the international HA districts with all sorts of nonsense for the past few days, and needless to say, I'm getting a little frustrated.

Sucks that your time was wasted, but it's something you have to live with if your build doesn't have the versatility to take down a griefer. I think we've all been there at one point or another, though it's usually an RA thing. If there's a build that can grief a team without a complete offense, expect some retard out there to exploit it.

hahahahaha XD. To me a ranger using a hammer is more freaked out than a sin using shadow arts.

Oh by the way... That spirit way build you have there, there's like a five minute counter to kill all shadow form sins. Too bad that people who only play spirit way are too dumb to read the fk'ing skills.

Spiritway and IWAY ruins HoH more than Shadowform sins.

I don't know if it was the same person or not but I faced invinci-shadowform sin who can't kill $hit on the first day of HA weekend and my very first match. I quit it right there and then after that awful match. I could've gone up a level during that weekend but it was just too stupid and put me off HA again. I don't know if it was the same person you faced but I'm guess it very well could be. Something needs to be done about this stupidity of players who waste everyone's time. We managed to kill him in around 20 mins or so I think but worst 20-30 mins of my life.

if you see them you just resign out if you dont have the enchant removal for it, i mean they pissed us off for 5 mins, we screenie the ingame abuse and passed it on to anet, hopefully the idiot who prides his/her self on this pissoff technique gets a ban or something ^ ^
