Can take a second for bleed to actually register the damage and kill someone. Note how most lolsins had to plink things once after Impale because the poison doesn't kick in instantly.
You're basically sacrificing a lot of consistency and pressure capability for a bit of extra spike power. If you want to do that, you just swap your warrior out for a tree and hit things with Wearying/Eremite's instead.
Regardless, this discussion should not exist. This is a typical case of looking at a skill and saying "this isn't good enough, we obviously need to buff it." Balance is done the other way, looking for playstyles that are not being satisfied, and making adjustments to meet that. Right now, there is not exactly a demand for better axe elites.

How about a change to
Lion's Comfort:
You are healed for x... x amount. You are healed an extra 5 points for each point in Tactics. Your Tactics Attribute skills are disabled for 12 seconds.
Or some other similar effect.
My understanding of the signet disable is to stop Healing Signet/Lions Comfort overlap healing bars. Which in my opinion is stupid anyway but the main problem is you lose your Res Signet or Death Pact Signet. Hurts more if someone in your team goes down and you can't res and we aren't exactly talking about a game breaking heal here.
Whether or not the skill gets play after an update such as this I don't know, just an idea.

IMO, the idea of an adrenaline based heal = fail. I mean, really, does "I need to heal, so I'm going to run over here, attack this guy for a little bit, and then heal" strike anyone else as strange? I guess you could whip out your Furious spear to build it up, but I can kite while I wait for my healsig to recharge; I don't have to stand around attacking to charge it, and it doesn't disable my res.

I pray to god it won't come after... I'm planning on de-instaling GW friday, so I hope to God it will be before that one... (Also, gj announcing it as a "early-january" skill update on wiki talk (Dunno who it was, Gaile/Andrew/Izzy/...))

I can't wait for a nerf on shadow-form and echo. These should never be on the same bar without any gap between their recharge even at 16 shadow arts. proof: observe HA any time especially late at night. scrub A/Mes who can do nothing but stay in shadow form.

Thursday?
Any information that you can hint at regarding which skills are being targeted at the moment?

Ok just had to get that out before the skill balance. Note that this is just after watching VD lose to a N/Rt, R/W team. You must admit, that build is out of control.

That's good news, I like the balance updates even if they nerf my favorite skill, because a change promoted fresh ideas which I would like to see often as it keeps people playing.

I doubt it would see play anyway, if any self heal is buffed just adjust heal sig or use nat healing. Adren based self heals are bad because in most cases where you're going to want your self heal you simply won't have then adrenaline. Even if they do buff heal sig the choice of dropping something else from your bar (dchop, rend, shock whatever it might be) for any self heal is tough. Though there are cases where it allows you to push a little harder in split situations without support and it takes some pressure off your rit.

The problem is that it's not always going to be available when you want it, and it's never going to be available after the first use unless you hit something. A self-heal that can't be used during retreat is bad.
I can see it getting use in PvE with a buff like that though.

While thats true, having it 1/4 cast and taking it relieves the amount of pressure your taking. A 1/4 cast heal also does not reduce your momentum as much as the 2 second cast of Healing Signet would.
If anything additional was to happen to Lions comfort other than perhaps 1/4 cast it would be reducing the adrenaline cost to 3 or 4.
____
Anyways posting skill updates
Divine Spirit, 30 recharge
Withdraw Hexes, 10 energy
Boon Signet, maximum energy 1..7..8
Divine Healing/Healer's Delight, 25 recharge
Word of Censure, disability changed to 10 seconds that or 5 energy.
Smite hex, 10 recharge
Ray of Judgement. energy reduced to 10, recharge reduced to 25
Balthazar's Pendulum, when that foe is Knocked down they take 20...60 holy damage
Heal area, increase recharge to 7, increase range to nearby
.

sorry to say it this way but, any decent warrior would choose Nat. healing or healing signet over Lions comfort anyday. The reason being because it is an adrenaline cost. There is noway in my opinion that can make this skill even possibly playable unless the cost was moved to an energy based cost. Ill stop beating that dead horse now :P
I wouldnt mind seeing a change to decapitate. maybe removing the lose all energy, still losing all adrin. though. Something of that nature. I really dont know how you could buff this skill to make it not become overpowered, but if there was a way I think it would be interesting.
