We ran an EDA in ICE way back in the Winterfest season, when no Euro guilds really used or knew how to make Dervishes effective because we were too busy spiking each other. Then [tag] mcrolled us with two Melandru dervs in the tourney and everything changed.

that's pretty similar to how it took so long for people to combine "grenth dervish" and "smiting" and "melee train" together. the possibility for that kind of build was available since NF release. not even the Koreans thought of it, until it just sort of appeared.
