What are you talking about? The 5-3 with warrior ranger ritualist wins us games daily! It's one of the most powerful aspects of the build. And if you do it you go into a highrisk-highgain situation (as things will almost certainly die) which is preferable when you get pushed and there's little options left. Also in vod it seems like there's more 5-3 splits than 8v8's.
That paragonbuild you mention with 2p RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing fails in split and we always win against it.

I can only think of 2 guilds that split heavily: Sink and -unimportantguildname of guild that runs massive physicals and just gets dominated when played well- Where Sink's build is only tweaked for split i wouldnt ever call it was dedicated as euro split.
