AB Warrior Build.
I use the shock axe build for TA & RA atm but im told that its not half as useful in AB.
Can any one suggest a good working warrior build for AB?
Thanks.

It's a perfectly viable build in AB. In fact, it's probably one of the strongest? I can't think of anything more appropriate... maybe Charge!

So Shock axe would work pretty well?

sure, i run it all the time in ab when i get bored, BUT not frenzy / rush that's a big no no. Less you have a monk you can rely on.

AB is more mass chaos so you should expect anything. It's perfectly viable otherwise.

Nothing wrong with shock axe builds in AB. Just change it up a bit by adding a heal sig instead of a res sig or at least mending touch. You might want to include enraging charge and/or FGJ. Without a stable group though, you'll have to take some sort of self heal or be able to escape/engage quickly. You might want to consider an eviscerate build with another sub (assassin, dervish and monk are obvious choices.)
I find that more often than not, I'm unable to use frenzy much due to the amount of people who will target you and not the squishies for whatever reason. Stick with Tiger Stance if possible.

I still run shock axe in AB. Although I only run it with my guild/alliance group. No Heal sig :P
I still bring frenzy w/ rush anyway ;\ never really been spiked at all.

usually when i don't bring my friends in, and i have to go with a pug i'll run shock axe but with flail /enraging charge, and disrupting strike. The rest is typical shock axe stuff. Flail tends to get annoying at first, you have to get a hang of it.

Please explain how you add mending touch to a shock axe ...
shock axe is one of the strongest warrior builds, it will do fine everywhere.

Personally I prefer this in ABs as well. Shock axe builds are great, and work in AB too, but W/D has a bit more self-sufficiency when you aren't sure you'll have a monk. The longer length of the match can make Exhaustion more of a concern as well, compared to the arenas.

I'm a proponent of the Scythe Warrior in AB. Lots of adjacent NPCs means this is the perfect arena for such a weapon.

i think i'll just use a dervish instead.
with the new update, this has become the "best" AB warrior:
14 sword, 9 str, 11 tac
sever
gash
steelfang
"coward!" {E}
rush
frenzy
healsig
shield bash
ridiculously easy to play, yet almost as effective as a shock axe.

As much fun as Coward! is, it's nowhere near as good as Shock for shear utility. In somewhere like AB you'd replace Bull's with Coward! since the damage you get with it isn't as critical there. Shock however is just in a different class all by itself.
Hitting those Guardians won't do you much good with Coward! or Bull's, plus you can force your SteelFang condition, if you use sword, more efficiently. You also want more damage on that bar. Put in Final and drop Shield Bash. Yeah I know it looks counter-intuitive with SteelFang + Coward!, but if you play properly (as in 'good'), it works.
Also you don't need 11 tactics. If your starting to use Heal sig, your probably dead anyways. Swap those numbers around and up skill damage with more str (Yeah, yeah I know it's tiny, but your job is to kill stuff).
If your running with a monk (call some friends to help you slaughter some Ab'ers. They're never hard to find when I shout that on my F-list), screw it. Go full warmonger.
Something like this:
14 sword, 13 str, rest in Air
Sever
Gash
Steelfang (or Body Blow)
Final (or Body Blow if you chicken)
Frenzy (or Tiger's if you chicken)
Rush
Coward!
Shock
Just call yourself Genghis Khan and just rush around sever>Gash(SteelFang) everything in the face saving Final for kills. Hell, just run this anyways. You'll die some, but Genghis will still love you...

I like Crippling Slash-->Gash with perhaps Knee Cutter
and at the risk of getting flamed...Crippling Slash --> Shell Shock --> Gash.
